I don’t care who the Dems run. As long as they beat trump. Biden, Harris, a corpse, 2Pac’s holograms, an AI generated candidate. None of it matters at all. Trump is the worst candidate in the history of American politics and a literal rapist and anti democratic dictator. He must be stopped at all costs.
I literally don’t care if Biden doesn’t remember his own name. He is still a better choice. It’s not even a ###### and a turd at this point. That implies two equally bad choices. That is not the case here in any way.

You must understand, when you call someone deluded, horrifying, and disgusting, that’s just saying they aren’t the best candidate.
When you point out that someone’s campaign is chaotic and negative, that’s basically calling them Hitler.

Also, when one CNN reporter says something, "everyone" is saying that same thing.

I didn't realize you were looking for evidence of that specific thing. I thought you just wanted something regarding Phillips position on Biden running at the top of the Democratic ticket again. I thought maybe you missed his push for a Democratic primary race.

True enough. It seems unlikely that a corpse or almost corpse could get the 70-80 million votes needed. 60 million, sure, but probably not enough.
There is no easy path for the Democrats to get rid of Biden without him resigning. That was true leading up the primaries, and true now. The DNC doesn't have the power here, Biden does. To try to discredit him or defeat him and fail is a bigger disaster.
It seems there is enough critical mass of democrat members, donors, and left leaning media calling for him to resign, that they think they can be successful in convincing him. His campaign is damaged beyond repair now and it makes no sense to continue.

Pretty much. Biden won the nomination fair and square. Then he won the election. Having done both of those things, he controls his own destiny. You can blame Biden and his advisors for stubbornly pushing ahead with a second term. But it was always their call to make.

I spend a lot of time in the US - most of the year sometimes.
I can tell you that from all the Americans I come across- they are more concerned with BOLD (in black) than BOLD (in red).
It's pretty baffling.

I’d bet money that the next president, whoever he is, will finish his term. Harris is capable. Whoever Trump chooses as his running mate (WTF is he taking so long) will be crazy like Trump.
I can’t find it now but tithe person who called Biden demented (or whatever word was used), watch this and tell me who’s crazy. I watched Biden’s entire speech. He was very good.

Ya no. Its hiding that the candidate you have is competent to run the country. One that is lucid at all hours. Not a person that reads whatever is on a teleprompter in front of him. Its a betrayal to the American people to push him out there, and lie to them on the condition of the guy who will speak for them.
Its no Joe’s fault, its the Dems. They pushed for Harris to be VP. Realized she was a dud. Realized Joe was their only hope, tried to hope and pray he’d be ok by election. He isn’t. Now they are panicking and trying to put Harris out there. Its a blunder of competence.
Anyways your not a voter who would change, much like 95% of the American electorate so your thoughts are moot. The persuadable see it. Polls are reflecting it. It a shame, but Dems created it, in typical Dem fashion.

That sounds like an astounding double standard, but ok. That's where we are now.
I guess Trump didn't expressly say he wouldn't organize an insurrection to hang Pence, so he never lied about it. Therefore, he's the better person to vote for.
Yay humanity.

It's right here, not sure how you missed it:
Quote:
“Other Democrats that are now vocalizing and saying these incredibly unhelpful kind of things – why? What’s your goal? Are you trying to diminish the president? Are you trying to strengthen Trump?” said Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, an unabashed Biden backer. “It’s much easier and much less effort to just write a check for Trump.”

On the flip side trump has been giving rambling, incoherent rallies from the start, so it won't matter at all if he has more.

Agreed. And it's been interesting to watch many people who used to love Stewart so much before when he'd make fun of Republican Presidents and Republicans, but now that he's going after the Democrats, "he's changed", in a bad way lol.

He has always gone after both sides when they do or say dumb stuff. As someone who witnessed the quick cognitive decline and age inflicted dementia in someone, it's a very cruel fate. I wouldn't wish it on my enemies. Joking about it is up there with joking about people with brain cancer who may not be thinking clearly because of the disease.
Biden in his prime was a very sharp person and I think deserves better than having people enjoy his degenerative aging and finding entertainment in it.

I don't know who would be the best choice to take over from sleepy Joe but man I would love to see the total destruction of Trump in a debate against Gavin Newsom.

I was curious about the running mate thing, so I did some Googling.
Apparently it is not too uncommon to wait until August to pick a running mate, at least historically if not recently. It got me thinking though, after Pence foiled his plot to become dictator, maybe he doesn't even want a Vice President in the way this time.
Again, just from brief internet searches and I am definitely not an expert on American constitutional law, but it does sound like there is some legal ambiguity about whether he needs to have one. In the event a VP takes over if the president can't fulfill their duties, they do not need to appoint another VP after being sworn in, so it would seem that it isn't essential to have someone with that title in office.
Apparently some states say that the President and VP candidates need to be confirmed "x" number of days before the election (Texas being the most at 71 days), but other states don't stipulate a date or specify that a VP has to be on there at all, so it sounds like there could be some room for legal challenges if he wanted to test it. It actually used to be the case in the U.S. that presidents ran on their own and the second place candidate become the VP. Wouldn't that be funny? Trump wins and Biden becomes the VP, comedy ensues.
I doubt Trump would risk being left off the ballot in a state like Texas (if that is a possible repercussion), so he will likely appoint a really weak running mate or even a family member that he knows won't ever challenge him. He'll have to do it by mid-August though to avoid potential problems.

Also pretty undemocratic to just remove Biden.
Perhaps the morons in the Democrat ranks who are suddenly scared ####less should have not doubled down when people said Biden has no clue what was going on and they said 'omg no he does.'

Gavin is a useless turd that is running California into the ground.
So I totally wouldn't be surprised if the Democrats pitched him as a viable alternative.
I mean they put Harris in as VP and let sleepy Joe go far too long before wanted to pull the plug.
