Looking at plants in your yard sounds so ####ing boring lol. I have a tree in my yard, and some plants, I can't imagine going out and "taking them in".

That’s kind of sad. I’ve created kind of a utopia in my backyard. Have some tomato plants, strawberry plants and hot pepper plants. I am in older neighbourhood so I have mature trees as well. Love it here.

Having a sensible chuckle at this as I sit on my expertly laid patio, taking in my flower garden filled with native Albertan wild flowers, my bountiful berry bushes, lilac, and variety of fruit trees, watching the blue jays and hummingbirds that have made this their stopping point on whatever beautiful journey they’re on, and sipping a negroni spagliato while I write a bit of poetry.
