*this is gossip* but what better place to spill tea than the ENG thread.
There is an old timer who comes by my work to shoot the breeze every so often. He was long time, several decades, scout in the WHL and AJHL. He is also a life long Oilers fan. The Hockey World being small, he starts to talk about Dylan Holloway.
He says that Holloway has one of the worst egos he's delt with, and that seems to be the consensus amongst the old boys scouting club. What's interesting is he suggested that Holloway had a bad ego even in the context of hockey players of whom he figures 80% love smelling their own farts.
What I thought was particularly funny was a story about how Ken Holland hates Holloway and doesn't want to be in the same franchise as him.
Take it with a grain of salt. But I had a good chuckle, and always enjoy hearing this guys insights in the small world of hockey.
