Eklund saying the flames are in on Stephenson and Farabee but he also said we were in on Sam Reinhart a couple days ago so massive grain of salt on those rumors.

I agree with this, offer 5 x $4.5MM. 23 yr old center that can put up some points and fits in our age window. I think Ottawa matches but their cap situation is a mess.

Better to work out a trade instead. Flames could use a centre like Pinto and Sens need a right shot defenseman.

I wonder what Ottawa is going to do. They owe the league a 1st for Dadonov, either this year or next, and have the privilege of seeing the 2025 lottery before deciding which one it will be.
If they want to keep that option open, it means trading neither of them.

The league needs to do something about their scheduling. Panthers win the cup on Tuesday, do the draft Friday-Saturday, their parade Sunday and free agency Monday. That's an insane amount of things squished into a week.

MMF is the tough as nails cop that "plays by his own rules". The force keeps suspending him when he crosses the line but he keeps coming back and then cracks a big case.

What he needs to do and it started happening mis last season is shooting more. I watched a highlight reel of his 115 pt season and a lot of his assists were coming on rebounds with guys going to the net
