Huberdeau played well with duclair/hoffman/wennberg in Florida, all of whom will be ufas tomorrow. Have to wonder if any of these will be targets for us. Get him going. Pump and dump for next season.

How do you low ball a 5/6 dman who got 8 points in 33 games? Like how low is that?

You cannot pump and dump a 10.5 million dollar winger in year 2 of an 8 year contract. You can also never buyout that contract.

I'd be super okay if the Flames claimed Boqvist, Signed Wennberg, signed any 3rd string goalie. We sure we want Campbell?

Alex Wennberg is a UFA? Didn't realize. That would be a solid pickup!

Actually Wennberg is a guy who could pick up some points with increased ice-time in Calgary and be flipped for assets.

I don’t want our young wingers to be blocked by vets.

Don’t care about the AAV as we have cap space to burn. As long as term is 2-3 years.

If he's underwhelmed by offers from other teams and feels his game matches with Huberdeau's from their past, this could be a good get for the Flames.

I would love Monahan back. I'm sure he'd be open to it.
I remember he was pretty emotional at the end of a press conference in his return to Calgary for the first time, which you don't see often.

Maybe but i would not be surprised if he has no interest in coming back.

He can still play, and as a 30YO(?) now, he may want to be on a competitive team more than somewhere comfortable. That will not be Calgary for a long time.

A guy that can get ya 25 goals and 60 pts who also are one of the best face off guys out there.....will be coveted and likely command a 4 or 5 year deal at 5-6 million. His injury history may limit the interest a bit, but he can help anyone.

Not really a fan of some of the names being connected to the Flames. There is a lot of solid middle rotation defenders out there now, but Dumba is just bad

Makes him perfect for us.

Hopefully his turnovers end up in our net in 4-3 losses.

Are you suggesting in 2-3 years the Flames won’t have room for one 30 year old winger?

Somehow I doubt that’s the way things will turn out nor do I believe you can build a competitive team without some veteran leadership.

I less than a year from now I think Kuzmenko will be gone, and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Coleman is moved either.

There’s going to be room for Debrusk, if that’s what the Flames decide to do.

We have Huberdeau, Kadri and Coleman. I think we are fine for 30 year olds on the team.

Ya count me as someone that doesn't feel a need for Monahan to be back.. unless Kadri gets dealt I don't know if I want all 4 slots spoken for.. (Kadri, Backlund, Monahan, Rooney)

Changed my mind on Boqvist. Flames clearly don't need another RHD any time soon.

Weegar, Andersson, Miromanov, Parekh, Brzutewicz, Mews.

Unless they moving on of the senior guys, then we need a LHD to replace Shilly.

I wouldn’t bring Monahan back. He’s a good player, but I want to see this team start moving forward with players that play with speed and pace. Need to start bringing in players with better skating ability.
