If Kylington leaves, or even if he doesn't...any interest in a show me/change of scenery signing of Brannstrom or Boqvist?

Short-term, high dollars. Make it easy to flip at this deadline or next.

He is a big reason for why the Flames lost out on Mark Stone back in the day, right?

Yeah, believe Ottawa wanted Valimaki and Flames said no while Vegas was willing to include Brannstrom.

2 questions about cap floor.
1) is there a restriction during the summer about how far a team can be under?
2) what happens during the season when a team makes a trade that takes them under the floor? Do they immediately have to acquire a contract?
Depending on the situation, I could see the flames being an opposite Vegas for LTIR or similar. For picks of course!!

1) No
2) The trade would not be allowed, I believe.

Coleman-Backlund-Coronato
Pelletier-Y-Pospisil
Depending on who is brought in at center I could see Zary fitting in either the X or Y positions. If it is a Stephenson/Teravainen, then Zary goes Y. If it is a depth center they may try Zary in the Bennet role between Huberdeau and Duclair and try and rekindle some magic. The nice thing about the Flames' situation, they can make that gamble and it really doesn't matter.

Dear God I hope not. If we really want to tank that might be a good idea though. Brodie is a trainwreck in his own end now.

Brodie is a UFA and was a healthy scratch in the playoffs.
34 years old now as well.

Don’t think he’s quite ready yet. But I think that’s a big part of why eat bread is gone.
We need a center. Not wingers. We have a winger playing center currently.

But if he has limited time to cash in on any contract to maximize his earnings, most of us may explore those things. Plus, if he's had mental challenges, perhaps going to a sunny place is something he's considering. Anyway, all conjecture and speculation, but it sounds like he's negotiating which is good, but I wouldn't blame him for exploring other things. He's not going to make or break this or any other team, so all good if he decides to walk - it sucks but it's a business as we all know.

Possible UFA reunions:
F: Monahan, Lindholm, Toffoli, Lomberg, Phillips, Lewis, Lucic, Pitlick, Carpenter, Czarnik, Gawdin
D: Gio, Brodie, Forbort, Gustafsson, Tanev, Zadorov, Wotherspoon
G: Talbot, Brossiot
Am I missing anyone?
