I don't think it's a matter of people being happy with how things are going. I think people voting Trudeau see him as the lesser of two evils. And the rise of MAGA, as well as the election of Danielle Smith, and the fact PP likes to cozy up to the freedom convoy crowd, only adds credence to their fears, I think.
I think you're right but lots of time to go.
People will either reluctantly vote JT again or reluctantly vote PP.
Lots of time for PP to play moderate or go too far MAGA and ruin his election.
If the election was today, I think PP gets enough reluctant votes to win.

Well you just have to link PP to Boobbus and boom! there goes the lead.

There are two choices. NDP and Conservatives. If you vote Liberal (again), you have permanently lost your right to complain about the government. Forever.

That's one strategy. The other is that they still hold power for a year and a half, so they may as well let Trudeau wear as much egg as possible before then.
Support for the Liberals is at 24 per cent. The Liberal leadership is a poisoned chalice and nobody with any brains or ambition will want it. Mark Carney is going to keep a low profile for the next year or two.

Trudeau is ####ing brutal. It’s amazing he is still around and actually kind of concerning. Agree with posters earlier who said there are no great choices here but for sure that corrupt egomaniac has to go. It’s insane anyone would support him and IMO Canadians undervalue corruption (as a problem) massively.
I'm not sure that the information supports that theory. All I see is that females prefer a different loser party than males. There's not an intelligent vote to be made as it's pick your poison.
It seems to me that it shows Pierre isn't appealing to young women voters, and if you were a campaign strategist you would see that as something you would want to address. Taking him out of a suit an glasses didn't help, so maybe some mascara? I dunno. Certainly listening to him talk about bitcoin and wood isn't working.
I really don't get the purpose of your cherry picking of polls and a small subset of a population, but only polls that fit your predetermined narrative. You did the same in the one Nanos poll (that does a rolling average) when the CPC support slipped for a week and you tried to paint it as a sign of things to come.
Considering how poorly CPC and Poilievre was doing on the overall female vote in 2022 and his disapproval rating, the image change seems to have been mostly successful.

He already wears more makeup than Freeland. What more do you want?
