Well it sounds like we are partially ruled by CCP interests, so some will be getting their wish it seems.

I don’t think you are correct. According to polling, the potential votes the Conservatives are gaining are coming from some where. I would think a good percentage is coming from the Liberals. Maybe some from the NDP as well, but I would think more from the Liberals. I don’t pay enough attention to the polls to know for sure, but you see headlines all the time about sinking Liberal numbers and rising Conservative numbers.

Ya it really is an almost impossible choice for voters.
Trudeau is incredibly corrupt
PP is a right-wing loon, no matter how much he tries to hide it
Jagmeet is a useless hyprocrite
May is a power-hungry idiot.
It's why it's a distinct possibility people are going to hold their noises and vote Trudeau.

I guess time will tell.
Anecdotally, lots of my friends have the same feeling as I do.

I suppose if you are happy with the way things have been going, why not vote Liberal?

Not that it matters in most parts of Alberta, since we are so good at one party rule.
You seem to think PP will be better, how do you feel about him not even able to admit with a straight face and stand behind his convictions to use the notwithstanding clause to set aside your charter rights because courts have ruled them unconstitutional?
https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/his...-use-1.7193180
Is this the sort of "rule of law" leader you are proposing we vote for? He's not even PM yet and he's already planned circumventions(though without the balls to say the words). Or do you think he will *snicker* "moderate" his views once elected?

I don't think it's a matter of people being happy with how things are going. I think people voting Trudeau see him as the lesser of two evils. And the rise of MAGA, as well as the election of Danielle Smith, and the fact PP likes to cozy up to the freedom convoy crowd, only adds credence to their fears, I think.

So long as Canadians remain as divided as we are currently this #### show is going to continue.
People don’t want to have rational conversations to discuss what in most cases is agreement on the majority of issues, they’d rather focus on why they hate each other for the smaller and often inconsequential matters they disagree over.

I really don’t know Fuzz. I guess if he has a platform that people like enough to elect him, and follows through with his promises, the voters are getting what they want.

Divisive politics has won many elections.

OK, but you are the ones telling us to vote them over Liberals, lest we not be able to complain about government after that. So I thought you might have an opinion on a very serious issue you'd expect voters to consider and weigh before voting, no?

It helps win elections but it usually doesn’t help to improve the day to day lives for the majority of voters.

What I actually said was there are two choices.
I would vote NDP in the next election before I would vote Liberal.

There is a potential alternative explanation: that it wasn't funny.
