I just don’t see the panthers allowing the oilers to win. Stanley is within reach and they won’t be be denied. 4-2 Panthers, your 23-24 Stanley Cup Champions.

I agree - too much experience from Florida to do anything but close them out tonight.

I don’t expect it to be close.

Closing out a series is always the hardest part, but the Panthers being in the finals two years in a row gives them a lot of experience in that department.

Edmonton Oilers season finale tonight. Tune in at 6:00pm Mountain time on Sportsnet or ABC.

Ruined by a lucky bounce off an elbow.

Coach Knoblauch is "really excited for the next 10 days." Lol, ok bud.

I get that he's trying to pump up his players, but looking past this game is probably not a good mindset to be in when you're facing elimination.

I'm predicting the Panthers will be up by a few goals going into the third period tonight and then will shut it down for the rest of the game like they were doing at the beginning of the third in game 3. This time, though, there will be no lucky bounce to ignite an Oiler rally. It will be 20 minutes of glorious shutdown hockey.

I want to see the Panthers win in sudden-death overtime. Just to see how quiet Rogers Place can get.

That would actually be awesome - a marathon goaltending duel that stretches into the night that mirrors their defeat at the hands of the Avalanche in 1996.

1-0 Panthers, Forsling in 4OT.

Nah, I'd rather the Panthers just win in regulation so we can be done with this god-awful timeline as soon as possible.

Or blown out by an embarrassing margin, debacle of monumental proportions.

I’m flexible.

I'd prefer the blowout.

The chances of jersey tosses and fights in the stands is so much higher.

I'm hoping Chucky scores the OT winner. Payback for 22.

I wanna see fans hitting the exits and prepping their riot gear well before the clock his 0:00. I say this as someone living 15 minutes from Rogers... I wanna hear the cries and feel their sorrow from my balcony.

I also want some controversial no goal late in the 3rd period, like a deflection off of Hyman's shin that gets called a kicking motion.

Who gives a #### how the Panthers win. What's important is they win. Do you all not remember the absolute sickening feeling in your stomach watching this motley crew of greasy #######s beating Dallas and realizing they could win the cup? While their truck-nut fan base threw beer bottles at each other in the "moss pit" and got in to dozens of fist fights?

I don't care if they win 8 zip or 2-1 in overtime from a horse#### call. The oilers are a gross, incompetent origination run by pricks, and cheered on by feckless pigs.

Let this lord of the flies madness end tonight.
