After this thread, I would have definitely voted AA if I wasnt two blocks on the wrong side of the constituency border.

Though I did get a campaign flyer for the AA. The only one I got. Last election I think I got flyers from nearly every candidate in both Calgary-Elbow and Calgary-Edgemont.

so will this be one of those threads that you remember fondly years down the line, like snotboy? will we be saying "hey, remember when fotze made an ass of himself (or rather, an anus) in front of a local politician?"

Today.

Jane and her team were on the side of the road waving to all this morning as I came out of my community.

Seems fitting to say this here.

All the ballots have been counted and I clearly had my "ass" whipped.

I am in good spirits though, since I really had no expectations.

I did manage to increase the parties % slightly over last time; going from 3.6 to 4.3 %.

I have enjoyed reading the comments here, it has been fun.

Then hang around. The political debates can be interesting.

Good for you, Jane. I'm not really familiar with your party but you seem like a decent, down-to-earth person, something missing in politics today.

Awesome thread, the only thing that could have made it better was if Jane had won.

Well, you finished ahead of the NDP at least. Anything that pushes the NDP down another peg is a victory of sorts.

Stop it!

Thanks for posting Jane. You've added a bit of levity to the board.

Surprised to see no mention of the obvious significant liberal win. A decisive message sent to the PC.
