Perhaps a waste of 8 or 10 days for you. It's a game meant to be enjoyed, no matter the outcome.

Referee's for tonight's game are Garrett Rank and Jean Hebert. This is interesting: The Canucks have won four straight games under referee Garrett Rank.

Smiling and keeping it light becuase he knows his biggest career move regret is over without having to put that jersey on again.

My favourite ref. I’m getting his jersey if he makes it 5

Perry being a healthy scratch is hilarious. The whole reason they signed him was because they were going all in this year and assumed his playoff experience would help put them over the top. Another misfire by Oilers' management, lol.

Going back to Skinner is also hilarious. Pickard has clearly been the better goalie and gives the Oilers the best chance to come back in the series IMO. If I were Pickard I'd be pissed.

The Oilers gave up their 1st and more for Henrique/Carrick and Stetcher who have played a grand total of 1 game combined in this series.

Could've gave it up for Tanev who has outscored MacKinnon/Eichel 6-1 at 5 on 5 through 2 series.

Most greasy fans would trade pissy if they could only keep 1.

I’d presume that the oilies know today how much pissy wants…but once July 1 comes, how many teams are whispering in pissy’s ear about money and status?
And the Oilers are extremely tight to the cap going into next season, I think they probably need to trade a larger contract away in order to have a complete roster.

Please please please

Playing Skinner is unfortunately a smart move. He's often pretty good after a bad loss, but hopefully sitting a couple has cooled his ability to stand on his head. The pressure will be intense at least.

C'mon Vancouver, bury them tonight.

...but make sure you're digging two holes. One of them, and one for Dallas to then push you into when the hard work is complete.

Just to add to this...

Burrows and Kelser didn't pretend they weren't divers. They did it because a) they could, and b) because it drove the other team crazy. With them, it was entirely above board, and they didn't care if you hated it (in fact, they relished that).

McDavid and Draisaitl - and the entire Oilers organization - actually believe that they are not divers, that the league id out to get them, and that they are somehow 'making things right'. They actually feel self-righteous about the whole thing, and believe that they are the ones taking the moral high ground.

You want to dive? Own it. Like the despicable Canucks did.

But the garbage that we have to put up with now, from McDavid and Draisaitl, from the Oilers, from the league (buying their garbage and actually calling diving penalties on their opposition!), from their fans (pleading the victim card), and most of all from the media, defending them as the honourable team, and calling games from the most biased, one-sided view I have EVER seen from media, is so disgusting and vile, that I actually can look back on Kesler and Burrows with some sort of sick and distorted respect now.

They’ll be adding my friend! The usual Kane or ceci plus lavoie and Borgeault

If they has hanowski it would be a no brainer

Every series in this round has ended in 6 games with the higher seed winning.

Do not #### this up Vancouver.

Honestly, I’m all for it. I’m sure if it wasn’t for that, they’d win…don’t change a thing!

Skinner with the start tonight. Be interesting to see if the refereeing changes at all with the 8 o'clock eastern start and being the only game on tonight. Lots of eyes.
