You’ll probably get a response but it’ll likely take more than a day. I do completely understand why you’d want this dealt with asap though, it’s just that you have to keep in mind they may have gotten more than a few calls and emails about this and are probably going to contact the people who seem least likely to flip out at them first and give those who they think might a little time to cool down.

Next time write a polite email asking to speak with them, set up a meeting and then call them credulous morons at the meeting.

I didn't say "You're credulous morons", I asked why they would lend credence to anonymously quoted "UCP Staffers" to further their own narrative and speculated that it was either due to them being petulant, petty or easily duped.
