The review mirror was Dan Tencer. It is tough there. There are so many of them, saying so many dumb things that it’s hard to keep track!

Foegele is 7th in team points and has 13 goals, but yeah he’s their problem. Kulak is also the least of their concerns on defence because he actually plays defence.
Gotta let Holland burn more draft capital though, I’m not complaining

Geez, everyone is aware they could be a lottery team as early as next season right????? Amazing lack of awareness up in those parts.

Thought it was interesting when they were showing the graphic for the Pens/Oiler game tonight, Maclean said a battle of the NHL's two oldest teams.
Had a look ... 10 players 30 and older.
Skinner and Bouchard the only regulars under 25.

It is not lost on many of us,there is a 2 season window to win and that includes this one. Neither year looks good for them. After that Drai and Mcdavid are up in successive years, even if the oilers win they may leave, and almost guaranteed they leave if they don’t. Even if they stay, unless they take massive discounts(and why would they?) they are aging and still haven’t won.
This experts weren’t wrong in some ways, the Oilers should’ve been able to put together a winner with what was gifted. What the experts didn’t count on was the absolute ineptitude of having chiarelli followed by holland destroying that chance.

It is crazy that the Oilers are the oldest team in the NHL, with an average age of 29.52.
All signs point this this, or next season needing to be their year.

Quick look at the rest of the season schedule for the league's darlings.... they'll play a strong team, then have a couple non-playoff teams. No gauntlets of 3-4 strong teams in a row like other teams seem to face. Hmmmmm.....

Perry is only one of 12 players over 30 on the Oilers' roster. Bouchard, Holloway, and McLeod are the only ones under 25.
The Penguins are the second-oldest team, but at least they've got an excuse. Malkin is 37, Crosby and Letang 36, but their nine Stanley Cup rings say they've earned the right to leave on their own terms.
It's amazing how old the Oilers have grown without winning anything.

Oh yeah, Ekholm is pretty firmly on the back nine as well.
Kane has already begun to regress, but still thinks he's prime, hence the drama.
It's a rough supporting cast. And the pinnacle of the twins is now and soon to be behind them. Not that they'll be there in a couple years.

Do people genuinely believe that the league officials sit
down and plan on how to give the Oilers an easy schedule?
