Hold on to your butts.
It's really exciting. We all wanted more from the treliving era and I was one of the fans that held on too long in defending and believing in his vision and execution. It's clear there was a lack of patience and ability to stick to a proper build plan.

I'm very happy with conroy so far and excited with both the players breaking out on the team and the potential trades to come.

I think it's going to be a fun time to be a fan.

Gaudreau
Monahan
Lindholm
Bennett
Tkachuk
Valimaki
Kylington
Hanafin
Mangiapnne
Andersson
Markstrom
Hamilton

I could probably add more if I sat down and looked it up. Not all of these players panned out obviously, but all of them came in with either a high ceiling or had some really good years at a very young age. Treliving built a hell of a team. This had nothing to do with Treliving not having patience or not building "properly"...he built a really good team that was one of the best in the west for a couple years for sure. The team just didnt get the job done. It happens. Not every team wins the cup. They didnt. Now they're moving on. Its how hockey works.

Emily Kaplan is a reputable reporter, and she says it got so close that Markstrom thought he was going to be a Devil.

If true that makes Markstrom play of late even more incredible. Man is in the zone and unflappable .

I still think it’s going to happen. Sometimes fires are so large that they appear to have gone out but they’re still there and waiting to flare up again with a change in the winds. That’s my metaphor for the current situation.

The same guy who posted it, clarified that Stankoven isn't getting traded, so not today.

They wouldn’t have to call him up to trade him anyway right?

I’m shocked that Fitz is seemingly throwing in the towel on this season. I thought for sure Markstrom would be a Devil by now.

I’d rather get two 2nd rounders from Dallas than Edmontons 1st rounder for Tanev

Rather make the Stars stronger so they can knock out the no goods.

Flames need to take the best offer, they won't care who the other team is.

So this next couple weeks is 100% potentially franchise-altering
Well done comprehending what I thought was a pretty straight forward post.

Shocked that it was interpreted any other way.

Just because stankoven isn’t being traded doesn’t mean someone else from Dallas isn’t being moved.

Dallandrea’s name is out there so maybe he’s brought in to replace him in lineup. Or not. Less than 2 weeks to go, stuff should start happening soon.

I know Conroy would prefer that. I’m just saying what I’d rather happen

I’m pretty sure the Oil have no chance of making the best offer.

I really want the Devils 1st…. It’s in Tij range if they don’t go on a run. Then I won’t be concerned about taking Tij 9th-10th OV.
