I was told with 90% confidence a deal was done and something changed. I’ve heard Flames camp was not happy that it was leaked by someone on the devils side…might be a message sent to other GMs to keep lips tight. Deal is not dead.

If the problem was on Jersey's side, that would be very encouraging to hear - more likely that a deal could still get done.

Sellers don't go away, buyers do. If Jersey circles back, a deal gets done.

I wonder if they are getting Tanev as well. Between the return the Flames want for Tanev and the return for retaining salary, there is a disagreement in the total package
