Injuries but they honestly wanted to try and get him as a UFA however I’ve been tipped off they been a frequent caller all year and the tone of the conversation has changed over the last 3-4 days.
I don’t want to discredit other insiders but I’ve hear Tampa is a bluff leaked into the media to cause a stir with other teams. Can’t have the juggernaut getting any stronger.

3 top 4 D going down, 1 for each of the rumoured teams into Hanifin is pretty unreal. Hopefully it helps the serious team make the decision sooner, I think Boston will step up. Love seeing NJ get shelled again too, they need Marky not just now/this year but moving forward too.

All the Devils need is a 3 or 4 game winning streak and they are right back in it.
When you get good goaltending, you're in every game. And as a result, team confidence grows, guys stay positive, and subsequently start playing better in every way.
