Bahl is a young big low event 3rd pairing dman and Clark is a tweener winger with a 3rd line ceiling.

I can’t imagine they want Tanev taking a header off the goalposts too many more times - if there’s a good deal to be had before the deadline, make it.

They will try but you only get so many years in this league to chase Stanley.

A return would be great, but I'm not really sure why he'd want to?
If the team sells him off, it is basically full retool (if it isn't already). If Tanev is going to keep laying his body on the line, I'm sure he'd prefer it is for a team that has championship expectations next season.

It’s been mentioned in some rumours which is why I’ve mentioned it. It would be awesome to get a papa Tkachuk scenario going and get a couple deadline returns for Chris.
Edit: recollection was wrong, the blues did trade him and he did return the following offseason but they didn’t trade him again after that. Lmao double edit - he was traded back literally the following offseason?!? Crazy lol.

I have it on absolutely no authority whatsoever that the deal will be Tanev+ from the Flames and Johnson as the centrepiece coming back from Dallas.
Kuzmenko may be in play to address Dallas' scoring need in light if the departure of Johnson, and the injury to Dadonov.
