I just thought that it might be around what we paid for Forbort/Gustaffson, so 3rd-4th round pick.
Kylington just doesn't get talked about very much. It seems like a foregone conclusion that he'll re-sign with the Flames.

Are Clarke & Bahl any good?

It's kinda middling. There's something to like about Clarke's game but it's not a high ceiling. Bahl? Kinda meh. Definitely needs to be a 1st involved in my humble opinion.

Taking a while to get to 5000

First off, thats a poor return for Hanifin.
Secondly, who is JOSH REINITZ and why is his name so large?

Yeah that would be a bad return for Hanifin, even as a pure rental he should return a first and a prospect... maybe more in line for Markstrom with no retention but even there it's quantity over quality

🤣 Sounds like a Devils fan proposal. That isn't getting it done.

If Kylington doesn’t re-sign with the Flames than that’d be a bad look unless some other team gave him a crazy contract

Kevin Bahl, a 2018 2nd round pick, seems like a D-man who can play up and down the lineup and on the PK.
As for Graeme Clarke, Scott Wheeler had this write up on him:
Quote:
5. Graeme Clarke, RW, 22 (Utica Comets/New Jersey Devils)
Clarke has really developed well in the four-plus years since shoulder surgery threatened his development at a time in his career when he was just beginning to find himself again (after losing a bit of the status he had in minor hockey). That steady progression has been stamped the last two years by his leading the Comets in goals (which has been his bread and butter dating back to minor hockey) and points in back-to-back seasons. Clarke is a straight-line player who works hard going north-south, can really shoot the puck and has begun to show he can make small-area plays to involve his linemates (which was a problem for him early on in his junior career). Clarke’s got the tools to play an honest, driven, complementary depth scorer game in the NHL. He works hard to get to loose pucks and win body positioning, he makes quick and decisive plays in possession, I like him in give-and-gos, and he plays with enough pace (even if his mechanics aren’t perfect) to get open for his quick release or to be opportunistic around the home-plate area. He’s a very likable player. I expect him to continue to get call-ups and eventually stick.

TBF to Clarke. He's producing positively in the AHL. And has 8p in his last 10gp.
He's buried at his position behind Bratt, Toffoli, Holtz, Mercer(most of the time He's a rw lately) etc.
Clarke is their 2nd best rw prospect behind Holtz.

Like, if it's a pure rental for Hanifin I suppose it's fine. That's some real time prospective games played in the NHL put of both of them. If we use the trade tree segment that Steve Dangle does. There's value there. Depends on fit and mix.

Clarke and Bahl would bother be B to C grade prospects, which is consistent with what you get at the trade deadline. Have to be a 1st to go with it to make it worth it IMO, but without retention and no extension in place the 1st might be out of the question.

Yes, if you change that 2nd to their 2024 1st unprotected then it is fair.

Dadonov is out indefinitely with a fracture. AAV 2.25m. Could give Dallas more cap flexibility if he is out long enough.
Sec has it in the Markstrom/NJ thread that discussions with Dallas re: Tanev have taken place.

lol Clarke and Bahl?
That’s a Treliving type return for a premium asset.
I’d wager Craig would hang up the phone if that was the offer.
Clarke has had 5 years and had been passed over.
Holtz or Mercer there’s no way I’d accept Clarke or Bahl honestly.. especially without a 1st.
Sounds like a NJD fan proposal.
