This is how they gain new followers. If it's 5+ days away, they give the people what they want.

I'm greatly looking forward to highs of 5/6 and lows of 0 (assuming TWN is on the money here)

Dust off those shorts from December.

So the O/U is 11C. I'll be bold and take the over, but I wouldn't be surprised if it hits right on 11.

re: Env Canada vs Weather Network vs (other weather stations)
There's so much discrepancy between them (ie 17C forecast for next weekend by Env Cda), I gotta wonder if anyone has ever done a longer term analysis of whose forecast has the greatest correlation to actual weather, plus/minus a couple degrees. If they're right as much as 75% of the time I'd be shocked... nay.... 50%... nay.... 30%.... kinda getting into the degree of accuracy that a baseball player is considered a mega star.

Also the long term is forecasting rain.

Got rain in December (which made the roads brutal when it froze over), now maybe in January.

I once had a car die at the Petro Canada in Bridgeland. Luckily I had a passenger, and it was a manual.

The pop-start was exhilarating, as by the time the car had enough speed to dump the clutch, I was about 10 metres from a brick wall, and had to get the engine started and the car stopped in the remaining distance.

Friend of mine had a Fiero back in the day and the starter went.

Couldn't afford to fix it so he parked on a hill or looked for a small incline for about 9 months until he could afford to get it looked at.

Thing should've come with heated tail lights...to keep your hands warm while pushing it...

Environment Canada has pulled back slightly to 15° for Saturday and 16° Sunday.

Everywhere else saying 5 or 6 for both days.
