Connor Zary has 5 NHL goals in 16 NHL games. Dylan Holloway with 4 NHL goals in 65 NHL games.
Oiler buddies laughed when the Flames drafted Zary. Tonight I got to laugh at them as I somehow won a bet that Zary would get 5 goals in the NHL before Dylan Holloway. Bahaha
Beautiful. This is the kind of thing that everyone can appreciate

As expected Edmonton ruined Holloway to the point where he should ask for a demotion to get quality ice time.
It looked grim after two. Despite Wolf locking the door after the first two.
The energy the call ups - including Wolf, have really injected something that has been missing from our team when we fell behind in the past.
I’ve not psychologically bought in to the third period comebacks, so thought that was that and nearly fast forwarded to the end so I could check the OOT scores for lottery positions.
Have you seen how many Torontonians have moved to Calgary? Have you seen how many of them show up to Leafs games at the Dome? They're like a colony of bees defending their honey.

I just noticed it, but does Wolf have the Hitler/Chaplin mustache? and here I thought one guy ruined the look for everyone hehe.
Very glad the kid had a good game. Hopefully he gets to build on it.
Comebacks are fun, and I'm glad we got a shorty in this one. That said, I would love it if the Flames could start a game on time at some point.
Andersson had his fingerprints all over the comeback tonight, which was awesome since he wasn't much of a factor offensively since scoring that OT winer.

Wolf is also the lightest player on the Flames, about 17 lbs lighter than Mangiapane and Coronato who are 5'10"
But oftentimes lanky goalies do well. Rask is 6'3" and 176 lbs. He has the third highest save percentage of all time. Behind Hasek (Wolf's height and also lanky), Dryden, and just ahead of Bishop (tall and lanky) and Tim Thomas (even shorter than Wolf). Even Saros, 5'11", is 10th all time in save percentage.
This can't possibly be true. Look at him—Wolf is tiny. He is the smallest guy on the ice pretty much every game.
What a stud, though.

Yeah, I was at the Wild game and Mike Vernon was on the ice. Vernon is listed at 5’9”. He looked the same size as Wolf, and Vernon wasn’t wearing skates.

I've stood next to Dustin Wolf before and I'm 6'0" and he didn't seem that much shorter than me...

What was there to laugh at?
He had 86 points in only 57 games during his draft year. 24th OA for someone with that kind of production is a steal.
Plus the Flames got more picks out of it.
