Might have to keep the rotating door moving and get the next guy in here to rekindle that jump. Bring Pospisil up again in a month or so, but give someone else a look there in the meantime.

I think he’d need to pass through waivers if he gets sent down. If so, that won’t be happening.

I don't think Pospisil will pass through waivers right now. If the energy really fades you can always switch him and Duehr or try him on a different line.

I think Pospisil on a line with Greer would give fits to their opponents.

Tre should have sold high and traded him instead of signing him to that contract. He was never going to repeat 35 goals nor close to it. It was the Backlund effect that we've seen before in Bouma, Colborne and a few others.

Yes, the Mangiapane that dominated the OHL, dominated the AHL, dominated the World Championships, and scored at a 20 goal pace from the moment he stepped into the NHL is a flash in the pan.
The guy is a real good hockey player, the talent is not gone.

Not flash in the pan but he cashed in on a good 1/2 season.
A mediocre middle 6 guy that stopped developing
Speaking of stop developing, what happened to Dube?

Yeah because he doesn't have any more friends or family living there. He could have just kept his mouth shut, but he didn't. Unlike Putin's lapdog in Washington.

Knowing that it means you likely can't go back, or at least as long as the people in power stay in power, counts for something.
I don't think it needs to be a go back and risk your life or it isn't impressive. There are many people in his situation that don't speak out.

It was a great game by the Flames until they got scored on the third goal. It seems like it deflated the team but Lindholm made it interesting at the end. PP clicked and the team is playing exciting hockey. On to the next one. GFG!

Zary didn't get on the scoresheet for that one goal but it was all him keeping it in at the blueline with extra effort.

I don’t think he took #91 to take Kadri’s number. His number 16 is Trevor Linden’s number, so I think he just rotated 16, 180 degrees and came up with 91.

Doesn’t apply to professionals that are supposed to know what they are doing
Can we blame James Neal on hindsight also?

I wasn't surprised to see Mangiapane be one of the players sit in the third as he was having a rough game. He was somewhat responsible for the first goal against where he gave away the puck preventing a line change by the Flames and the Canucks poured it on, forcing the Flames to ice the puck to relieve the pressure. They gave up the goal on the ensuing face-off with tired Flames players running around in their own zone.
Put together with him not getting anything done offensively, he was pretty deserving of the benching in the third. Maybe it's time for him to move down to the 4th line? Ruzicka or Dube up to the Lindholm line to see if that would work?

Very possible.
I do like that Huska rewards those playing better more ice time. Mangiapane is a favorite player of mine but he’s been making a lot of boneheaded mistakes lately.

That is SO dispiriting to a team - even if they do eventually come back some.

I can’t remember too many posters complaining about that deal. A lot of posters were worried Treliving would lowball Mangiapane and bridge him.

Mangi had a bad second half, there were people that wanted him traded
