Flames played well but showed up late. Needed to drive the net more like they did in the late 3rd. Sloppy game bit certain players looked good, liked lindholms game.

Markstrom really has to stop surrendering those early goals. Even Canucks fans were saying that's the Markstrom they remember.
Was at the game, Z got lots of boos at first but it trailed off halfway. Weird how he took Kadri's number.
Zary didn't get on the scoresheet for that one goal but it was all him keeping it in at the blueline with extra effort.

I actually think Calgary is still very much in transition to what it will be become moving forward as a team (system and style-wise). The group as a whole just keeps improving.
Giving too much credit to the league's #1 PDO team is often a little dangerous and premature as those things tend to level out over time.
Vancouver was playing mad after thursday's embarrassment. Think they caught a Flames team that was a little content with their recent success (those games happen). And the Flames still almost got points out of it.
