Two things. A savvy GM trading the player and on the other end a GM that was totally let down by his pro scouts.

Glad to hear.
If the value isn't there I would prefer to keep him at this point and trade both Lindy and Tanev but we will see how things work out.
Lindy for a younger forward with potential and Tanev for picks.

Is there any evidence Jeannot is better? Really? Dube is younger, has played more games and has put up better stats. The only thing Jeannot has on him is size but that doesn't make him a better hockey player.

To some degree, given the return Conroy got for Zadorov, I thought we’d simply just get a serviceable 3rd liner to play on the roster once the other big names are sold off at the deadline. That can still happen with the picks but I really don’t hope Conroy deals the big boys for any bottom two line or third pairing guys. Maximize those guys’ values with high picks or high ceiling prospects. No lineup filllers in those deals please.

Last night for the Flyers, Joel Farabee only had 0:56 TOI. When asked why, Torts replied, "Because he didn't listen". Difficulties between these two go back to last year.
I'm a big Farabee fan, and would love to have him. He's skilled, fast, and mean.

Kind of want to see by the TDL:
Hanifin sign and trade to FLA for Lundell plus picks
Lindholm 50% retained for as many picks as you can get
Tanev 50% retained for as many picks as you can get
Markstrom with some retention for as may picks as you can get
Lundell takes Lindholm's spot in the forward group
Kylington comes back strong and healthy
Poirier comes back and gets promoted
Pelletier comes back and stays in the NHL
Coronato gets promoted again and sticks
Wolf gets promoted to fulltime back up to Vladar, or maybe even as a tandem
