Just declare what you plan to do at Christmas well in advance, give people an inconvenient opportunity to join you, and then enjoy your small Christmas.

For me that was just declaring every second Christmas I’m not leaving my house. So if family or friends want to see us they will know where we will be. Once you set expectations people grumble a bit but then decide what they want to do.
This is what we do. Every Christmas we have Christmas at our house. Family are welcome to join us, or not join us as they prefer. Some do, some don't, but we were super clear about our plans when we had kids.

few outright orgies, but many where sex happened at the party.
If we were not included or wanting to be included, we minded our own business and just kept on doing our own thing.

The people that were not into parties like that either left early or didn't go at all.

I may be unfairly stereotyping but I don't think many $9 per hour fast food workers are buying those.

People would have a room or two nearby for stuff like that or they sneak away and do their own thing. Having sex right at the restaurant in view of everyone else is its own kind of weird though. Unless maybe it was an intentional kink thing, but still weird.

That's also a reason why someone might be pretty upset that a co-worker smashed their window. That could be a real financial issue for someone at that income level.

From what I understand, many Molcajetes are inherited from other family members and the way its seasoned is part of the pride they have with those things? So, yes, fast food workers are probably not buying those, but they could own them.

It could give more credence to why she returned to grab it and then being extremely upset when someone vomited into it. If the stone absorbed the vomit, it'd be really gross and time consuming to clean and potentially re-season.

Yeah, kinda, if the company event is at Taco Bell.

I loved those crazy work parties when you had those jobs at, like, 18. I remember working at Lake Louise and we had a staff party at the lodge at the backside of the mountain one year. I did this weird windmill flailing arms thing while stumbling backwards and landed on my back dead centre in the middle of the food table, broke the table in half and all the food and drinks went flying everywhere. You'd think that would be frowned upon, right? Nope. It was awesome for some reason?

I love crazy shenanigans at low-tier work places.

IDK, I just don't go around worrying about getting in trouble at stuff like that. It's fun AF to go crazy at parties. To me, that's what they're for. I can be all professional at all the other times, but if we're having a party you can bet your bottom dollar I'll show up to go nuts. I realize there are the people on the sidelines of the parties sipping on non-alcoholic beers sneering at people enjoying themselves, but for some reason that just makes you want to ham it up even more. IDK why.

But to go to orgy level...yeah, not my thing as a married dude, but I'd either stick around and kind of ignore the orgy side of things if other areas of the party were fun or I would leave, I guess. What I wouldn't do is rat people out for letting loose and having a hilariously fun time. That's so much lamer than the people fkn on the dance floor.
No Joke, next party I throw I want you to come. Parties are meant to be FUN! I'll bum a fake dart off you and we drink cheap beers until dawn.

I don't know. I've been to enough parties with drunk and stoned people that sometimes stuff just happens where it happens.
If your place of work is a bar and the party is in a bar, maybe they'd head to the dj booth? sometimes the kitchen. but really, sometimes was in a booth in the corner where anyone could see. or whatever.

and the kissing and titties hanging out happened everywhere. it wasn't hidden.

drunk sex by the guac doesn't seem that odd to me I guess, unless they were using it as lube.

While I don't agree, I appreciate your point of view

Dude, I'm way more boring than you're probably thinking. I come, party hard, then like to be in bed by 10. Drinking until dawn is not something I'm capable of hah.

I can handle that. What a can't handle is people pretending it is wrong to cut loose.

I have about 4-5 earlier morning sessions left in me per year.

Although our session start earlier than before.

Example - meeting a bunch of buddies for beers Saturday for a B-day.

We are meeting at 6, I predict I'll be home by 11.

Previously, 6-9 would be a few warm up beers at home, then bar/pub/club till closing then home or a buddy's to continue until sunshine.

My rugby club had a clubhouse that was just a basement. it had no windows.

I lost track of how many nights during my 20's I would go there post bar and walk out to mid day sun.

dangerous

Yes, I’m into U.S. politics; it’s fascinating in a terrifying sense. What’s not to love about Carter? The guy built houses for those in need.

I also have a most-hated president. Hint: orange.
