Now Summer Solstice that is a time I can celebrate.

If you are celebrating solstice you might as well celebrate the winter one too.

Did you all see Jimmy Carter at Rosalynn’s funeral? I feel bad for the guy. He’ll be joining her very soon.

I had the TV on with the NFL games playing on Thursday and noticed on of our cats was sitting on the recliner and looked to be watching the game when I came to check on it while working.
Tonight I observed her absolutely perfectly form tackle the other cat into the wall when they were play fighting. Wonder if she picked up a few ideas from watching football.

What a jerk. If you don't want to participate in the group sex, go home. You report it to head office? Loser.

Best part of that rollercoaster ride of an article.

The scene left Bechiom “shocked, disgusted and outraged”, the lawsuit said. Bechiom reported that more was in store for her after she ran out of the restaurant but came back in to fetch her guacamole bowl.

So there was a staff sex party and she left but couldn’t resist coming back for her Guac bowl?

I can’t imagine if you’re working at Taco Bell that you’re well off enough to just discard guacamole bowl.

Oh yeah the bearer of life winter solstice. Thank goodness for the couple of days that follow, where the sun starts to slowly climb higher into the sky. Now THAT is something to celebrate…… wait a sec…

I mean, if you were so offended at the goings on you could always pick it up the next day.
Tattle tailing on adults going off is pretty fkn lame.
Not that I want to see that, either, but I'd at least see how hilarious it was and be grateful for the wild story those weirdos gave me.

If it's a volcanic rock Molcajete, those things are pretty expensive and once you get them to a certain level, it's not easy to replicate again.
It's like getting a cast iron pan just right. It might be around $50 for one, but the added seasoning and history behind it adds to that value that a new one just doesn't always replicate.
Her lawsuit is stupid though.

Bechiom eventually quit.
Her subsequent lawsuit demands damages from her employers because she says they created a work environment so hostile for her that she had to resign. It remained pending on Tuesday.

The employers did no such thing. You did it yourself and now non-employees of the franchise are pissed off at you, you snitch.

I think this adds to the story though. I mean, you got fired tom a TB for what?
Still - you think a drunken orgy at a company sponsored event is okay? What kind of reaction would you expect from any employees if you allowed something like that at your office Xmas party?
I dunno. I mean, I am kind of okay with the orgy part, but as a company thing and with the alcohol involved. You have to carefully tread consent.

My company Christmas parties have never had drunken orgies, and I am eternally grateful for that.

Did you know that off the top of your head? Are you a guacamole bowl savant? That is such random, archaic knowledge.

Do I think it's okay?
Yeah, kinda, if the company event is at Taco Bell.
I loved those crazy work parties when you had those jobs at, like, 18. I remember working at Lake Louise and we had a staff party at the lodge at the backside of the mountain one year. I did this weird windmill flailing arms thing while stumbling backwards and landed on my back dead centre in the middle of the food table, broke the table in half and all the food and drinks went flying everywhere. You'd think that would be frowned upon, right? Nope. It was awesome for some reason?
I love crazy shenanigans at low-tier work places.
IDK, I just don't go around worrying about getting in trouble at stuff like that. It's fun AF to go crazy at parties. To me, that's what they're for. I can be all professional at all the other times, but if we're having a party you can bet your bottom dollar I'll show up to go nuts. I realize there are the people on the sidelines of the parties sipping on non-alcoholic beers sneering at people enjoying themselves, but for some reason that just makes you want to ham it up even more. IDK why.
But to go to orgy level...yeah, not my thing as a married dude, but I'd either stick around and kind of ignore the orgy side of things if other areas of the party were fun or I would leave, I guess. What I wouldn't do is rat people out for letting loose and having a hilariously fun time. That's so much lamer than the people fkn on the dance floor.

Yes. It was OTOH.
It's the volcanic rock looking mortar and pestle thing they serve guac in at Anejo. It intentionally has weird gaps and grooves in the stone and is intentionally not smooth. Apparently you mash garlic into the gaps to season it, but that seems completely weird to me. It's for spice mashing or salsa/guac.
https://www.cocinaxicana.com/post/ho...your-molcajete
I have a rough granite mortar and pestle I got from Costco years ago that I'm not too impressed with and although it's not a legitimate Mexican volcanic rock a Spanish friend of mine took one look and told me if I ever didn't want it, he'd take it and it would work great as a Molcajete.
I'm still debating whether to take him up on the offer and replacing it with a smooth stone mortar and pestle that doesn't have gaps and grooves in it, but I honestly rarely use a mortar and pestle.
