I bet this will also help in television negotiations for SmackDown rights in the upcoming months.
I would love to see a future Cena/Punk match as well. They've built up such a rivalry over the years. If they don't want Punk in a title match at Mania, they could easily build that feud as a main event calibre match.

I doubt we'll see Cena in the ring again, I think that his last match, getting murdered, was his patch the torch and death of a character moment.

Looking forward to Punk having to work Saudi Arabia and pleasing those unsucked blood money covered ####s.

I'm not really a Punk fan but that's moreso because I don't think his actual work is great, not because of anything he's done backstage. But I have to say it's all worth it for the reactions online.
WWE fanboys defending Punk after trashing him for the last 10 years.
AEW fanboys reminding everyone at every possible second that Punk is cancer that assaults people backstage.
Wrestling is more fun when there is competition that's for sure.
And I'm pretty sure the Rollins stuff is a work at this point. I had forgotten when Punk was on that Fox show that Rollins had been angling pretty hard for a match. He's wanted a Punk fued for years and he's going all in to make us all marks with his off air and interview remarks. Good job Seth (and if anything maybe a bit of a jab at the AEW guys too).

Wreslting is its best when you can't tell the difference between kafabe and a shoot. CM Punk is good TV and that's the bottom line.

Ryback said on Friday he would retire if Punk came back yesterday and now after fans are flooding his social media accounts wishing him 'happy retirement' he's backtracking saying he meant AEW.

Ryback is still relevant?
Can one retire if he's already working as a wallmart door greeter.

He thinks he is.
I remember that time he did a poll asking people where they wanted him to sign. Him retiring ended up winning so he posted it again asking people to take it seriously and not vote retire just to troll him.
Retire won again.

The Rollins stuff is a work. He is Punk's first feud.

Orton and Punk both confirmed for RAW tonight. Exciting, but at the same time I really hope they don’t both stay on RAW.
Smackdown is decimated for talent with Roman out until January, and the WWE really needs to get something watchable on Friday nights for the next 2 months

Sunny receives a sentence of 17 years in prison.

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch was found guilty at today’s sentence hearing and will serve 17 years in prison.
The former Sunny will serve 10.6625 years in the Department of Corrections for one count of causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license (a felony in the third degree. She will receive credit for 566 days served.
On charges of one count of DUI causing death (DUI Manslaughter, a felony in the third degree), Sytch was sentenced to seven years that she will have to serve after serving her 10.6625 years on the other charge.
The four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property have been credited to 364 days already served in jail. She will have 75 days to file an appeal.
This all stems back from an incident that occurred in March 2022. You can read full details on her arrest here.

Its impossible to feel sorry for her, this is on her, she was offered a lot of help, she refused it or didn't take it seriously.
Its more then likely she dies in prison.
At the same time, it does feel like the Wrestling Industry messed her up badly, and the industry needs to take some of the blame.
At least no one else will die with her behind the wheel.

Just saw this. Man she is huge now as well.
I read about how Kevin Nash and Scott Hall ran interference on Skip while Shawn Michaels was with her in the locker room. Kind of sounds like they dated while she was married to him as well.

She admitted to it in her book (Yeah I read it). It was one of those books were the lines between truth and lies were blurry. But you get a sense that Candido really loved her and took a lot of poop in that relationship. And yeah her and Shawn were hot and heavy for a long time while she was with Chris.
She also pretty much admitted to her incredible amount of daily drinking but denied that she needed help.
It was actually a hard read.
But at the same time.
Heyman completely screwed Tammy and Chris financially. He used her in that hard to watch interview about her drug use. At the same time he kept trying to push her to go back to school.
The WWE environment was really toxic. She bounced from one awful man to another.
There's is some trauma in her life.
At the same time Missy Hyatt seemed to have similar problems but found her way through it.

I think I can speak for most when I say it's the most anticipated non-Wrestlemania event in years. Who knows what'll go down. I hope they push Orton as well... There's so much in store for tonight.

The one thing the anti-Punk folk railed at first about how he overshadowed Randy's return and it hasn't at all. They're both massive things and both getting a lot of views and love.
About the only thing both these returns have done is just bury what ever AEW is doing this week. I don't think anyone cares.

AEW is doing a fine job of burying itself, regardless of these returns.
The devil payoff better be a complete home run or I'm gonna probably just be reading recaps for a while.
