Hard to defend Dube, he hasn't had a great season, but Duehr is behind Dube (and well everyone) in most stats.

Mid-season trades are just pretty rare in general these days because half the league is capped out, and most of the teams that aren't capped out, aren't in any urgency to acquire veteran players. You pretty much have to hope another team gets long term injuries.

I wouldn't expect anything to happen until much closer to the trade deadline. It is probably likely that a lot of the groundwork for deadline deals is happening behind the scenes now though.

Duehr just isn't an NHLer. He was never particularly noticeable in the AHL and rode a hot streak after he came up. Now that he isn't scoring on one out of three shots — and he's also not going 110% every night, either — he's back to what he was. I'd send him down and bring up Pettersen or Klapka, both of whom are currently better in the A than Duehr ever has been.

Yes, of course I am I know how message boards work.

However, what have I done that I should be concerned about that? I haven't broke any rules, haven't attacked anyone personally, haven't done anything that would result in me being banned.

Seems odd to come out with that statement out of the blue.

At 25 I have no fear of him learning how to handle the puck like it's not a hot potato elsewhere, nor do I think he'll learn to pass a puck or hit the net either.

Duehr hasn't been great but I'm not sure what to expect out of his his 8 mins playing time a night and he has 3x the hits/60, he's a plus player he doesn't cost $2.3m.

And, it doesn't really matter if you have broken forum rules in this instance: if no one here is interested in tolerating your schtick, it's probably time to move on

As I said if arguing with Bingo is not allowed fair enough, I was under the impression that it was allowed. I posted the reason for calling him a liar, but if people think it is so bad then I will take it back.

As for derailing threads, that is not true. I only respond to people talking to me. Again something that is normally allowed on message boards and is a big part of the point of them. If that is different here then fair enough but that is not mentioned anywhere.

I have had plenty of good conversations so saying nobody here is interested in tolerating "my schtick" is way overboard.

I agree with you on Duehr, he is back to what he appeared to be before being called up. His NHL career kind of on thin ice really.

I don’t know about calling up Pettersen, he’s a different kind of player and you can’t put him on a 4th line and expect energy.
