Hope they go get more picks and prospects, our amateur scouts know what they are doing.

Helluva 8 games strung together or something like that. Nice to see. Zary that is! :-0

Finally Huska put Sharangovich with Lindholm in place of Dube. Just keep Mangi-Lindholm-Sharangovich together.

I was being heavily sarcastic, but Coleman's my man right now! Works his ass off every shift, doing all the heavy lifting asked of him, and when the team is in the crapper?
Coleman works twice as hard to dig 'em out.

Torn between getting Zary or Pospisil getting put on the back of my blasty jersey. Both have been lights out!
Leaning more towards Pospisil on that goal alone tonight.

You don’t win in the shoot out, you won’t make the playoffs.

Shootouts shouldn’t exist, but since they do they should have a chaser from the defensive blueline. The chaser should also have to rotate through the roster of skaters.
Would resemble “hockey” more than the current bs.

The shootout might be more enjoyable if we were better at them.
Having one skater who can find the net 1 on 1 is brutal.

Fun game. If this team is going to have any chance of getting into the playoffs they need to do better in shootouts. I guess one team has to be the worst at any stat but being the worst NHL team at shootouts is going to keep putting this team behind the 8-ball every season.

The good:
- We almost made the comeback, didn't give up, and had a fun game.
- Huberdeau got his mojo back, and he looks great out there.
- Pospisil was a man on a mission tonight... I loved both the goal and the play in OT
- DeSimone is showing some chemistry with Huberdeau and good instincts in the O-zone.
- Weegar looks a lot more dangerous offensively while remaining steady defensively.
- Hanifin is solid at both ends of the ice
- Kadri and Coleman with another good game
- Sharangovich was clutch with his game tying goal and in the shootout.
- The team looked much better in OT in the last couple
The bad:
- we keep getting scored on right after a goal
- It seems as though we're trailing by 2 almost every game
- Dube didn't look good out there, losing a lot of puck battles and not generating much of anything.
- The 3rd pairing was a tire fire in its own zone tonight
- Ruzicka was barely noticeable
- We're still bad in the shootouts.
- Andersson with an uncharacteristic giveaway that lead to a goal
The ugly:
- The PP

Yeah, the losing in shootouts is getting super ####ing old. Come on guys practice it, scout it, figure it the #### out. It’s part of the game now, figure it out. You can think it’s stupid all you want (and it is) but like Erick said if you want a sniff at playoffs you can’t keep losing those points.

Didn’t look that way to me. It wasn’t a great second period, but I thought they were clearly better in the first and third.

Even last might early on he tried a little saucer to mid ice and it got tipped. CPers were all “nice pass Huberdeau LOL”.
