I agree, but I think the road whites are the best of the three!

So apparently Mark Savard taped Lindholms stick tonight and Megan Mikkelson had a talk with Huberdeau. I say this needs to happen every game from now on.

Lots of good stuff in that game and by far the best passing I've seen from them this season. Kudos all around.

Was at the game. Hubey actually was putting in effort and legit looked like he was trying. Looked similar to when bennett took the monkey off his back as a goal celebration.
I’d say flames fans are generally #######s, and I identify as such personally generally, so not shocking but huberdeau can come good. There is light at the end of the tunnel and we don’t need to be in him outta town

I'm totally shocked at how good this current Flames team really is! They played really well tonight!

Aside from the obvious stars, I bought that maybe was Mangiapane’s best game of the season. And I’m really liking Greer.

The Mikkelson thing is interesting.
After the last game she was really talking about how Huberdeau looked slow and like he just wasn't able to get around the ice fast enough and was always thinking instead of just playing instinctively.
Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for their conversation, because tonight Huberdeau seemed to be playing way more off instinct than over thinking it.

Imagine if Zary made the team out of camp (like it can be argued that he deserved to) and Kadri-Zary started in game 1 or 2.

Great game from pretty much the entire team.
Can't really think of anyone that I thought was a passenger tonight!
Regarding Huberdeau, I'm very happy to see him get a few points. I appreciate that even though he's been pretty mediocre to bad for most of his time here, I really appreciate that he looks like he's still trying, and that he cares.

She described it post game. It was more about his efforts to stay positive and how he was feeling the pressure. She said he was looking for the “little wins” during the rough patch but that it was tough. So it was more of a pep talk.

Was out to dins at Barbarella for most of the game...got home to see a chunk of the third period. Flames looked good (and apparently looked even better in the second!). Great to see Lindy and Huby get going...and let's hope it sticks!!

You could see the excitement with all the other players on the ice when he buried that, and the relief in Huberdeau. I've been hard on him myself I'll admit, but in reality nothing would make me happier than JH getting back to the player everyone knows he can be.
The key is him believing that, and I think tonight went a long way in that direction.

I hope it helps his confidence. It wasn't just a goal, but it was a really nice goal. Getting it in the net alone is great, but I think it helps more that it wasn't just a lucky bounce or something. It was skilled goal.
He was pretty good all game, and after that great shift he had where he had several nice passes connect, he seemed to build more steam.
I am cautiously optimistic because this is the first game this season that Huberdeau was big reason why the team won.

It took a while, but the team looks like a team. They mentioned on the broadcast, but it is no coincidence that wins started to come as they were able to clean up their game.
