No. Not a bloodlust at all.
You just want the whole population exterminated.
Let the hate flow.

Polling from a couple of years ago indicated that likely less than 40% of Palestinians want a two-state solution. I don't think a two-state solution is possible for that reason alone, nor would it bring peace. Even if you forced them to take it, it wouldn't change their minds on Israel existing there as well.

But whatever you call yourself, and whatever you should actually be called, I’m not going to ascribe it to the entire Israeli population.
So, since you didn't provide a better description - or any description for that matter - mine "rotten to bones" stands. And I never said anything about killing Lebanese women.

I'm still waiting for a better description of population that is cheering for killing of hundreds of civilians and naked raped girls paraded in their streets
I call it rotten to bones. I stand by that.

I think they are broken beyond fix. If you disagree - go over there and fix them. You will get a statue of you in every corner of Israel, if you succeed. This should not be read if I want the whole population to be exterminated. I just hope that seeing some Gazans dying will make Lebanese civilians think twice before supporting Hezbollah. Thus making the world safer.

This is the only solution I see as one that could possibly lead to a lasting peace.

Fortunately, it still seems Netanyahu's time is almost up. Hopefully this can translate into less dogmatic and more rational action from the Israeli government.

I see the Israeli action against Hamas in Gaza as an absolutely necessary first step to rebuilding Gaza under Israeli control. Once the young population sees how democratic governance can breed prosperity and be a poison pill to corruption, and how money flows towards the construction of civilian infrastructure instead of underground tunnels and weapons... Perhaps then can some sort of harmonious coexistence be built for the next generation.

Man, you gotta step back a bit. This is some ugly thinking that only leads to dehumanization and justifying murder. It's exactly this single mindedness that gives Hamas it's motivation against Israel. One in the same. Don't be like Hamas.

This absolutely does not work. You are thinking like a mobster. All that will do is create more rage and death.

Sure. But hey...its a solution. Not an ethical one, but you must admit, it would solve some problems.

You can fix any problem if you just have no morals and absolutely dont care whatsoever about a specific group of people.

This is an interesting question. I thought Russia did some pretty despicable things after they invaded Ukraine. The abduction of children. Intentional targeting of civilians. Butchering civilians as they retreated. Targeting hospitals. Targeting critical infrastructure that impacted only civilian areas. Torturing civilians and using them as human shields. And then the big one, forced conscription and shooting of their own soldiers who refused to push forward. This caused a mass panic and saw many able-bodied Russian men flee the country out of fear for their lives. Tell me if this last part rings any bells?

I guess we could say the same about Russians based on their behaviors in supporting the invasion of Ukraine and the war crimes that followed? Anyone who was born in Russia and has Russian bloodlines is rotten to the bone. Anyone who served in the engagement with Ukraine should not only be culled from existence for what is happening in there, but their mothers should be killed, that their wives and babies should be killed, and their elderly parents should be killed, because they supported their country. Would you say that would be fair?

No, you're just living in lands that were originally taken from Palestinians.

This is some pretty ####ed up rhetoric considering circumstances. I'm at a loss how you've come to this point.

Not really. Genocide means killing Palestinians just because they are Palestinians. This is not what I suggested at all. You know why they were openly cheering on the streets? Key word here is "openly". Because the idea that they will be bombed in response never crossed their minds. They thought they were invincible. They thought they are untouchable. And so they were doing all the infrastructure job for their government, which is also terrorists group. The reason why Oct 7th happened at the first place is because civilians felt invincible. If they knew, that Israel would bomb the hell out of Gaza in response, they would have stopped Hamas themselves.

Absolutely. In fact, since Ukrainian war broke my life pretty hard (you don't normally immigrate in the middle of your life from a very high pay job), I thought about how we let it happen quite a lot. And long before Hamas attacks I realized that the reason why russians, as whole, let it happen, is because of the same invincibility. They thought, the war will never touch them. Now Russians were not even remotely close to cheering or parading naked Ukrainians on the streets, and in fact they protested the war from the day one. So intentionally killing them is an overkill, but if Ukraine will just bomb Moscow, without caring too much about killing civilians, one may very well argue that this will stop the next Putin from coming to power. If every Russian realized, that if they let a dictator run the state, he and his family - not just military and government - will be killed, it will prevent the next Putin.

They are nonetheless very much responsible. It's not like Putin hypnotized everyone. Civilians were still doing all the infrastructure job required for the Russian war machine to function and are fully responsible for that. Me wanting no part of that was the reason why I left at the first place, but I still do bear some responsibility as well.

For the record, all land in pre-1948 borders, including Haifa, was bought, not stolen. I do not live on stolen land.

I will not respond to your last paragraph, as you clearly just tried to make me reply, which I will do anyway.

I put my money where my mouth is both with Ukrainian war (I left Russia) and Hamas war (I stay in Israel and contribute to the country). Those of you, who support Palestine, don't seem to be in the rush to help their cause.

The one poster on the board who has lived through 2 wars in the last 18 months?

You can argue his points, but his perspective is unique and informative.

A terrorist. He’s thinking like a terrorist.

And, of course, when faced with actual terrorist rhetoric and calls for targeted violence against civilians, it’ll be interesting to see how many of those who feigned outrage that anyone could support such a thing step in and call it out.

I’m guessing not many, since one of them already decided it was better for to accuse someone who wasn’t afraid to call it out a “bully.”

It’s not a healthy or helpful way to treat something as awful as war. But maybe more understandable in people who live in the region or otherwise have a personal investment in the conflict.
