Staples, Stauffer, and Spector. They all blend together for me.
Which one is the least worst?

I think Staples is still blogging about things he knows nothing about like the NHL. He's just being a little less outlandish given the Oilers start to the season.

Has anyone seen that 630 CHED commercial they run during Oilers broadcasts where Stauffer is being filmed walking out or Rogers Place and down the sidewalk the like he's the man? It's so hilarious my brother rewinded multiple times for the laugh.

He called into CHED the other night with a question on McDavids vaccination status I believe.

K what is going on with McDeadbeat's eyes? It looks like he has a lazy eye, and they blink at different times... Looking back on this interview from 2015, it does not seem to be an issue then. Also, it's astounding how poorly he's aged

So with the Pickard/Campbell swap, the Oilers save a whopping 387,500. Is Pickard really an upgrade?

I think Staples has chilled out with old age, and has become more consumed in the political side of things.
He's basically a glorified fan with some out of touch views on things in general, but doesnt take himself and his position nearly as seriously as Spector. Fewer hot takes, aside from what qualifies as a urinal. The cult of hockey thing is just two elderly 80s kids bonding over their favorite team.
Spector and Stauffer are loud mouths who're deluded into believing their thoughts and platforms matter.
Stauffer is at least able to be critical during his call and acknowledge when other teams are running the Oilers show, but he also lets his bum hurt vibes come through on game calls and is bad at not making it blatantly obvious which side he's personally invested in.

I read somewhere that $1.9M is also the amount the Oilers would have to pay out over six years if they buy out Campbell this upcoming offseason.

I agree with your general summaries, but to add, Stauffer gets so loud and worked up, huffing and puffing whenever something goes wrong for the Oil, I swear he's just going to keel over on air one day. Hope not, but holy smokes guy, chill out.
Spector is a dumb homer (not if, but how many, etc. etc.), thinks he's really smart, then whenever something goes wrong with that team he plays the "tough media guy" and throws out any outlandish criticism he can muster for clicks on his articles so he can pass himself off as unbiased.
Both are super annoying.

He’s a UCP bootlicker now. Puff pieces on Danielle Smith & countless bad takes.
