I didn't see the original tweet since I'm blocked by Spector, but he thinks Holland should have asked him about Campbell before signing....asked Spector, Jesus.
JFresh bringing the receipts that Spector was a cheerleader for the signing.
He said he only wanted to coach in Calgary, Chicago and Alberta.
He probably wouldn’t have taken an Edmonton job before his last stint in Calgary but after being betrayed by the organization and its fans, his tune might have changed. His legacy has been tarnished and bringing the cup back to Canada would restore it.
The guy loves Alberta, he could become a Provincial legend (the Oilers have a much bigger fan base too) again if he could lead the Oilers to a cup and we know he could.
He loves Alberta, but he never said Edmonton to only coach in Alberta.

Checking CapFriendly to see how much Campbell buried counts towards the cap ($3.8 mil) - see the Oil are still paying James Neal $1.9 mil - leaving Capfriendly with an amused grin.
9 GP 0G 0A -5. It's so blatantly obvious what's going on here. If you asked their fans they wouldn't want him to play again. The Oilers are probably trying to find a way out of it without upsetting McDavid. It's shameful that the NHL allows these kind of tactics to go down without raising an eyebrow.

Spector is the biggest loser and hack in sports media.
Can't handle criticism and buries evidence of his own poor predictions to try to look smarter, and is a serial hypocrite.
Him gloating on 960 after the heritage classic makes their current skid all the more delicious.
No professional exec will real experience is going to a 50 year old basement blogger for advice on their job. Especially one with a track record as bad as Spector's.

What an idiot. I totally recall him being smitten with the Campbell signing. How this man keeps his job is beyond me as I can't recall a sports writer that has contradicted himself and been flat out wrong so many times.

CURRENT CAP SPACE Tooltip : $25,099
DEADLINE CAP SPACE Tooltip : $95,143
That is something else being in the position they are. If someone gets the sniffles and miss a game or two they barely will be able to grab a coffee with the cap space they have left. No help is coming and the pretty much all the bonuses will go to next year, which will submarine the last year of Driasaitl.

What ever happened to Staples? We used to love to point out his ridiculous takes here. Did he move on to something else or did Spector decide to outdo Staples?
