Point still stands. If Flames Nation isn't making money from this thing, I doubt they are paying those guys much.
Hard to make $$$ in podcasting.
True but the Nation Network has a parent company that also owns Daily Faceoff. They seem to have invested enough in the show and talent that they have their own studio. That doesn’t mean the show is self-sufficient on its own but they’re not just a local podcast dependent solely on local ads.
Barn Burner crew kind of alluded to some legal stuff on today's episode? Anyone have any idea what they're were chatting about? (or am I just not picking up on some inside joke?)

Oilers getting permission to pursue Sutter for HC?
It was D. Sutter love fest lmao. Saying Sutter was vindicated with how poorly the team was playing without him. Dreger alluded to a joke in some circles about "how long until Sutter comes back to coach Calgary?" They suggested Sutter might be able to turn Edmonton into a contender.

I inferred it was something to do with higher ups at the Fan trying to stop Boomer from Barn Burnering. But who knows.

All this Sutter talk/defending is hilarious.
Do people just forget that the Flames had a seven game losing streak in November last season under Darryl? Or that they had a five game losing streak the following month in December? Or from January 26th to March 4th they won just 4 of 15 games?
It could also be argued that Huska has been dealing with the lingering effects of the mess that Sutter created here, and as such, as got off to a slower start.
Darryl no longer belongs in the NHL.

They are cleaning up the mess Sutter created. Its probably not that simple.
Still playing a really outdated brand of offensive hockey, trying to I hope break habits of last year but it seems like its coming back into our game.

I think it's plainly obvious that the whole Sutter saga as well as this year's poor start has elucidated the fact that the Flames have a core of soft, weak-minded players who simply lack the character required to respond to adversity.

I thought it was on Barn Burner where they burnt Sutter for d****** around with Pelletiers debut game and his parents who were waiting to see it. Someone called Sutter out on that and how the parents were getting messed with and he finally played Pelletier then gave his infamous "what number is he?" press conference because he was pissed off at being called out.
