The "human decency" aspect of the conversation should go both ways. Instead it becomes about slinging insults, and cavalierly using words like "racist", "bigot", "homophobe", etc.
Intolerance of intolerance isn't ####ing intolerance.

Is making up rumours about players a good example of “human decency”?

Nice to see you’re right back at the same game after your timeout.

Nothing cavalier about it.

Right? Gets suspended and what thread does he race for as soon as he's out? One that was dead but for people commenting on the jersey design and how nice it was.

World history is shamefully littered with abuse and discrimination. And it's unfortunately tolerated until it's not. Tolerance of the intolerant ran out (on this issue) a few decades ago. That it was tolerated as recent as that is also shameful, but we aren't having this conversation in 1990. So #### them.

That's weird...not sure why I can see your posts. I put Moon on ignore years ago.

You can go back to your hole now. You will not be swaying anyone at this point.

I did no such thing. But given my imprecise wording, I understand the confusion.

I hate to bump this, as it will probably lead to more of *waves hands* whatever that was above this post, but it's on topic.

Players are now banned from even using Pride tape at practice or in warm-ups. So much for the 'personal choices' that were parroted last year.

Making it harder to be a fan of a league that, even perfomatively, doesn't want my support.

What are they gonna do if a player puts pride tape on their stick?

Do it anyways. The NHL will look even worse if they try to punish a player.

Oh man. This is begging for a player to get technical over the semantics of color.

"It's not pride colours. I used Mauve instead of Purple".

That's a pretty ugly look.

I want reporters to ask Bettman why he supports homophobia. Every single time he talks.

Totally agree. Every captain should do it.

What other colours are banned? Can a player use blue and yellow tape to support Ukraine? Can a guy tape his stick in red and white maple leaf tape in a show of Canadian patriotism?
