The goal should be to convince Reimer and others that there is a better way to look at the world. I argue for the use of liberal principles partly because it gives you the moral high-ground and partly because it is simply more effective at accomplishing the goal. When the rhetoric becomes about "consequences" and "condone" and "be intolerant to intolerance", then you have lost at both gaining the moral high ground and effectively convincing people of anything.
Getting angry and lashing out makes people feel good in a dopamine-hit kinda way, and that's why they use such ineffective tactics. But it's the opposite of an elevated and intellectual approach to advancing LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.

Nah, it didn't look like bullying except to the fragile folks on the right. To the vast majority it looked like people pointing out a crappy attitude.
I'm sorry but I don't need to take an "elevated and intellectual approach" to bigotry.

Nor does anyone. This isn't a debate over ideas. It's basic human decency.

But it wasn’t, so does that really matter? I’m sure they floated the idea out there with many other teams doing that.

Probably suggesting that Kylington has legal problems preventing him from coming to NA, with no actual source or proof of that.
Or just for being a general ass-hat.

The puck looks nicer than the jersey in my opinion. The color gradient is much smoother.

Keep it simple, Cole436. Many people either dislike or are scared of the LBTQ+ community. Don't try to examine it beyond that.

People seem to get a pass on the decency bit if they are attacking a player that is simply refusing to put on a jersey.
The "human decency" aspect of the conversation should go both ways. Instead it becomes about slinging insults, and cavalierly using words like "racist", "bigot", "homophobe", etc.
