100%. I’ve also never understood why Canada needs a separate special outdoor event. And not all of Canada because Toronto was allowed to play in the Winter Classic, so why? Just… why? So weird.

The "Heritage" brand is starting to look a little shop-worn. There's only so many vintage jerseys you can emulate. I wonder if the team moves to "Stadium Series" branding for the next time. More chance to experiment with modernistic styling.

I just saw the jerseys, so did the Oilers add McDavid's number to the crest now? I guess it seems fair for all Oilers to have 97 on the jersey just for the privilege of having him on the team.
Glad they kept the tear on the jersey, served them well so far.
