I love Hendo, but his days in the PL were done and he sold his services to the highest remaining bidder. There is nothing wrong with that. Just be honest about it.

I have no issues with players at the tail-end of their careers cashing a few cheques. But dont try and feed the fans any sanctimonious BS about it.

I think for one of them he was asked why he did another movie in hawaii, and his answer was that the studio was basically paying for he and his friends to go on vacation

I would say that about the manager first.
There was no reason to be so honest about why Sancho isn't being selected, even if true.
He's using the media to embarrass the player, so why can't the player use it to defend himself?

The whole thing should be behind closed doors and the manager took it to a public spat first.
There area cases where players go online with this stuff first and I would agree with you, but in this case I blame ETH.

His PL days were done unless he wants to play in promotion/relegation squad and even then his legs are gone.

Apparently Sancho now has to train alone.

Jadon Sancho won't be training with the Manchester United squad amid his public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, the club announced Thursday.

United issued a statement to say Sancho will train "away from the first-team group pending resolution of a squad discipline issue" after the 23-year-old openly questioned Ten Hag's reasons for dropping him for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal.

Sancho will not be included in the squad for the game against Brighton on Saturday, and there is no time frame for his return.

A club statement issued on Thursday read: "Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group pending resolution of a squad discipline issue."

After the match, Southgate described the negative treatment of Maguire as a "joke," and on Thursday, Maguire's mother made a similar statement.

Its really weird, right? People always talk about players as Prima Donnas but its so contrary to my experience playing.

It was always "Be tough! Suck it up! Do as your Coach says!"

Many people have said it, myself included, they need to declutter the International Schedule.

They play too many International Matches.

It seems so simple to fix too. Eliminate international breaks during the club season, have the club season (including UCL) end in late April and then have the international period be for a month after the club season ends. I would think it would also improve international football (which, lets be real, generally sucks compared to club football) by allowing teams more time together rather than a week at a time and then it's a different cast every time. And it's insane to me that players for South American countries are flying like 20 hours round trip in a week, multiple times a season.
