even then, United just can't concede a garbage goal like that deep in injury time ... or concede about a minute after scoring the opener, for that matter. Shooting themselves in the foot, as usual ... just get the damn draw, which would have been a fair result. Just frustrating.
Ending a game with Maguire and Evans at CB speaks for itself as well.

"That's why you pay £105m for Rice!!"
Uh, ok. A jammy goal that's a fluke (and questionable) is why? I love the commentary.

I love the salt!
Rice has been incredible; even goal aside he was having a great match. He will become an Arsenal legend, best signing in ages.

As a caller on talksport said afterwards, it felt like an Evans testimonial match seeing him out there again.

Nah, I'm not that salty. A good team would've pasted Arsenal today, and toy scraped by a poor United.

Put on Maguire and everything goes to pot...no way who could have seen that coming? What, was Phil Jones unavailable?

The best part is that if you just want to watch United lose you only have to watch like 10 minutes of the match!

So I was watching the Arsenal highlights and I noticed that Aaron Ramsdale went to celebrate Jesus' goal and right at the edge of his box he had to pass Maguire.
What the hell?

They were probably just chatting about the upcoming International matches.
Better than tracking back.

"not money motivated"
I'd honestly respect those asshats a lot more if they went "I did it for the money".

I believe in the Jays.

If he just said his legs are dead and wants to make a pile of cash before retiring then I doubt he’d see backlash the way he has. At least he’s sorry though, that always counts for something.

It's crazy to see players calling out their Manager that directly on social media, seems like they are all coached so heavily on media that it's genuinely surprising to see someone make such a bad decision. I understand his frustration but can't see anything good coming out of this for Sancho. Fine and lost wages and then probably makes it tougher for him to move on/makes other clubs more reluctant to pick him up and he's stapled to the bench in the interim. Maybe he can cash in on the Saudi boom before it ends and escape that way.

Pretty much.
I mention this often, but I once remember an interview with Adam Sandler. The interviewer asked him why, despite the fact that Sandler has actually shown to have talent, why he continues to make dumb comedies.
To which Sandler replied: "They're dead easy and I get paid a fortune."
I dont have a problem with that. That is honest.
I love Hendo, but his days in the PL were done and he sold his services to the highest remaining bidder. There is nothing wrong with that. Just be honest about it.
I have no issues with players at the tail-end of their careers cashing a few cheques. But dont try and feed the fans any sanctimonious BS about it.
