The number of drivers who don't know how to stay in their own ####ing lane in a traffic circle is too damn high. If I'm crossing Stoney over the new-ish 14th St overpass using the inside lane, I always have to pay close attention if there's a car beside me because there's a 50/50 chance that an oblivious ass#### is driving and wanders into my lane

Parents who are parked at bus stops waiting for the bus to come. I don't mind you parking off to the side, but at least be respectful of other traffic and not just park anywhere YOU find convenient. Case in point, parking right at the edge of a turn at an intersection. Just suck it up and park it down the street a bit. It's a two or three house length walk. I'm sure little Johnny can handle it.

I was minding my own business driving in the right lane of Shaganappi heading south when some dude coming out of Market mall merges in almost sideswiping me because he didn't even bother to shoulder check and just blindly merged into oncoming traffic. I didn't honk my horn or give him the finger and just did the "WTF are you doing" look. Then he gives me the finger three times, speeds ahead to get in front of me and brake checks. That kind of pissed me off because it was totally uncalled for. When I was young and dumb I probably would have lost it and chased him down but now I just shake my head and wonder what the hell is wrong with some people.

I'm not going to actively TRY to catch it. But if I get it, I can have 2 weeks paid sick time off. Expires EOY, so not much time left...

Last time I had it, I watched all of the old A&E Horatio Hornblower series and drank a lot of soup. Was really really great to just let go of work, working out, travel and all that for a good 10 days. It wasn't bad for me, but I didn't want to spread it so I stayed in bed.

I guess what gmg is that short of having the Rona, it would be impossible to take a staycation like that ever again without feeling guilty about it.
