Varsho what a catch!
It's easy to judge his bat this year but it's so nice to be able to rely on having the top defensive outfield in the majors. Also when injuries happen we can easily shift and not give that much up defensively.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

At this point you can't start getting picky about where the Jays finish in wild card standings, but it would be kind of nice if we finish in 3rd and get the Twins and avoid Rays
|

Yeah, if you aren't winning the division (and they won't, obviously) that 3rd wildcard spot is clearly the best one.

They have the starting pitching and bullpen to do it, of that I have no doubts.
The only question has been consistency in the bats, but they are slowly starting to all come together. There's enough offense in this team to win it all on the back of pitching and defense.

It would be nice to sweep the Royals and win the series vs Rangers, but it's probably gonna come down to our last few series vs Rays, Yankees and Redsox
