When you get hit with RICO charges, you have truly hit the big leagues of criminal behaviour.
Well done Donny. After decades of playing in the minors of fraud and extortion and sexual harrassment, you have now graduated to the real show and all that comes along with it.
He is so screwed.....and it could not have happened to a more deserving guy. Well except for Guiliani....he is just as deserving. Meadows too.
When he gets convicted and sent to jail....will he have to wear one of those orange jumpsuits?
And if so, will we be able to see him or will it just look like a giant walking carrot?

New Balance sold their first sneaker in 1938 - right around the rise of Hitler. Coincidence? I think not.

There is no way Trump is going to jail. Until I see a real picture, I refuse to believe it’s a possibility. Nobody is more slippery.

No one escapes RICO if convicted.
Its basically true that a prosecutor can get indictments from a grand jury on a whim if they so choose.
However for the RICO act to be used there must be serious evidence of wrong doing, not just theories.
I understand the hesitance to actually believe Trump and company will actually face justice here, but this particular indictment has real and very sharp teeth to it.
I dont know who testified yesterday, nor what said, but there is no doubt after reading the indictment itself, there is serious evidence from them.

If he was to get out of this scott free, this would have been the time. Particularly in a true red state.
He is in real trouble IMO.
He still likely wins the GOP ticket and possibly the election if it gets that far, but in the end...he is fataed.

Former Lt Gov of GA, Geoff Duncan (R), had these words last night after testifying before the grand jury. “Donald Trump was the worst candidate ever, in the history of our party, even worse than Herschel Walker”

"Surely, we have him now....
*nothing happens*
Alas, next time we will!"
But one can hope he actually faces some consequences at some point. He's a shining example to #######s that they never have to pay for their crimes if they have enough money.

I very genuinely hope you are right. Like "Flames win the cup" hope.
But I have the same level of expectation for both (unfortunately). He's a super rich old white male, and his lawyers don't have to prove innocence. They just have to sling enough muck to muddy the waters. It'll take years, and he's way more likely to die of old age than see any sort of consequences.
This is the life of those born into privilege in a Plutocracy. You do whatever you want, and the rules don't apply.

None of these civil or criminal cases have been resolved in Trump's favor. 7 are currently moving towards trial. Even with money pouring in from supporters, he's struggling to pay legal bills that will only get bigger. The quality of lawyers willing to work for him is dropping quickly as well.
Yeah, the wheels of justice move slowly, but he is going to face some consequences at some point. Whether it happens before the next election, and if he wins can he utilize his office if he wins to weazle out of them are the big questions.

There's six more states where the GOP tried the "Alternative Electors" scam: Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
The fun's just started.

Holy smokes, that's a lot of indictments. And the charges keep getting more serious. I think Trump might finally be running out of things that he can weasel his way out of.
That being said, I agree with Btimbit's post above. He's definitely in trouble, but he'll end up fleeing the country before he sees any jail time.

Yeah, but you’re not taking into account the irrefutable CONCLUSIVE report that will lead to total EXONERATION next week.
In Bedminster.
Book it!

I too don't think he's going to wind up in Prison, but I also don't think he's going to be allowed to run. I think this is leading to a suicide via bullet in back of head. He's a dumb ####### but no doubt he knows way too much to exist elsewhere.

Not that I disagree with anything you said, but IIRC this is Georgia RICO and not federal. I understand GA RICO is easier to get a conviction for, but I don't know anything about the punishment standards.
