The majority of people don't have jobs specific to their degree. Almost 60% of Americans don't have a job related to their degree. This is an improvement from a decade ago when that number was just under 75%. What your degree is in is irrelevant for most jobs. Yes, there are jobs where a specific education path is required, but that is usually determined through an advanced degree rather than a bachelor degree. A bachelor degree is just proof that you can dedicate yourself to a long-term goal and learn how to think critically (at least it used to be). Any degree is proof of that.
Yeah, it's funny. I work for a global consulting firm and the number of colleagues I see with an iron ring like me who studied one of the engineering disciplines in post secondary makes it seem like we're actually an engineering firm when we're not. While my studies helps me for some clients and definitely helps me pick things up quickly when it comes to emerging technologies like Generative AI or automation, my work certainly doesn't require me to leverage any of the knowledge I learned (and forgot) during my studies. I agree though - I always say to the young bucks, one of the most valuable things I learned during university was my ability to push through when times are tough towards a long-term goal (i.e. getting a degree and graduating).
I mean, Cliff could have just said "Porsche and Volkswagen" and we would have all begrudgingly said "-sigh- Okaaaaay, fiiiiine." You're always making it harder on yourself.

What Rudy and others did to Ruby Freeman and her daughter was so ####ed up. Imagine being a part of the democratic process as a poll worker, only to be viciously harrassed for it based on stupid lies and conspiracies.
