I thought the goalie situation in Toronto is pretty clear. They have Samsonov as the #1, Woll is a great prospect as a #2, and now they have Jones in case of injuries.

As for the D, Hanifin is an upgrade, but would you want to give up an 80pt winger to upgrade your 2nd pairing.

The argument for the cap dump doesn't quite work either. Calgary is currently $220k over the cap with 12F, 8D, and 2G. We'd need to find someone that can take the extra $2M in salary in a separate trade. Here are the teams that have that space right now : WPG, PHI, ARI, SJS, CBJ, BUF, DET, NSH, CHI, ANA. The only trade I can think of is something like Z for Gudbranson(50% retained) and a 3rd. In that scenario the Flames D starts to look very thin, with only Weegar, and Kylington on the left side.

A big biker-looking guy grabbed by brother by the collar and threatened his life once because he overheard him call another guy a goof. Totally insane. He was a known former inmate.

I have many (northern) English friends, most of them use that term and I can assure you they all mean "pedophile/rapist" when saying it.

Most commonly I'll hear them use that word in reference to Jimmy Savile. Make of that what you will.

They also still have to figure out what to do with goalie #4 Murray and his 4.6 mil but maybe they already have as capfriendly has him listed on LTIR.

I got into a conversation with a friend about other teams needs and what Flames players fit those needs and what Flames players you could see going to what teams. Not tear it down and trade everyone but if Lindholm gets traded, where could you see him going. The other team would have to make the cap work and have the assets to make it happen. Up to 3 teams per player.

Lindholm: Columbus, Detroit, Washington
Backlund: Boston, Carolina
Hanifin: Buffalo, Florida
Tanev: Toronto

Well when someone calls someone a pedophile and the poster I said that to basically defended it while insinuating only someone's grandpa would be offended by that the shoe fit. I absolutely agree that personal attacks shouldn't be a thing on here but if a poster with the history of Hackey is going to champion it with no repercussions I am going to call him out.
