If you look at Trudeau's tenure as PM from the scandals, the awful sound bytes, the corruption etc. it can be really hard to picture how he's still here 8 years later. That Barbie picture on twitter and the predictable reactions it induced from the troglodyte homophobic end of the spectrum is exactly why he still holds on to power.

The only reason for tweeting that picture in the same week he asked for privacy for his family given his recently announced separation from Sophie and a poll indicating conservative support entering majority territory was to troll the so-con outrage machine to remind the mushy middle of the electorate exactly who opposes him most vigorously. The 'f&%k Trudeau' crowd is so dumb that they don't realize they are Trudeau's biggest political asset.

The "point" of their stupidity is that Justin and Sophie asked the press to respect their families privacy, and now Justin in posting a pic seeking attention. What their smooth brains can't quite comprehend is that asking for privacy from the press from harassing their family about personal issues is entirely separate from Justin posting a fun picture of bonding with his son, which is his own choice, unlike harassing press questions.
