History will remember him as a twice impeached and three times indicted loser.

I honestly wonder how some of those Trumpists will look back at all of this in 10, 15, 20 years. Will they snap out of a fever dream when their orange wannabe-dictator bites the dust? Will they ever deal and cope with the fact that they were willing to support somebody who gives a #### about the country and wants to erode democracy? Or will they just blindly fall for the next grifter who can brainwash them and use them as a means to power?

I explicitly remember people still defending Nixon in the 00s, so probably not.

Or maybe some of the Democrat drones will wake up and actually see what’s going on to the country.
Unfortunately now that the audio visual club is in power they won’t let it go easy.

I had to laugh and leave the room watching Trumps (new) lawyer attempt to talk about this.

How bottom barrel is this guy? Will people ever actually come back to reality and realize what they've been defending the whole time? I wondered how it was being covered on FOX, but I didn't have the stomach to check. It really feels like a breaking point where people are going to need to cognitively choose reality or not.

Hey, like, do you need a friend or something? Maybe a bike ride or a hike?

Good things are happening

Quote:
Biden is well on his way to becoming the greatest jobs-producing president in US history. Employers added more than 7 million workers to nonfarm payrolls in 2021 and followed that up by hiring an additional 4.8 million workers in 2022 — the second-best year on record. The strong labor market allowed the economy to recoup all 22 million workers that were let go in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic — and then some. The unemployment rate is back to a five-decade low of 3.5%.

Hiking is over rated. I'll tell you what is under rated. standing out side of city hall holding whacky signs about misinformed and outdated current events.

I was in red deer mid pandemic and I saw this cooky lady during an anti mask protest with a sign that said, Jesus Knows Trump Won. I am not sure what impact she was trying to have, but I have been laughing at her ever since.

He's still around but he doesn't get as much attention these days compared to even bigger kooks like Arthur Pawlowski and the convoy crew.

I think Larry Heather is still around and, I think, about age 70 so you’ll likely see his name on ballots again.

Larry Heather actually ran in the last provincial election in Calgary-Acadia.

what's going on in that country is that a sizeable chunk of the population has fallen victim to a cult and is apparently living in a completely different reality.

I have no doubt history will not be kind to Trump. He will rightfully go down in history as a pathetic clown who was unfit for office and who brought nothing but shame to the country and its standing in the world. I just wonder if his followers will ever understand that or sweep it under the carpet and fall for the next conman longing for authoritarianism.

He also ran in the recent Calgary-Heritage federal byelection and got 0.59% of the votes.

^Chilling. Unfortunately, this is one reason why we are happier to be in a private school. It sucks that the public education system is so ####ing ####ty down here.

Has anyone figured out who all the co-conspirators are from the context clues? I mean some are obvious.
