I don't like the direction the Flames are taking so why would I have posts praising a direction that I don't like?

When something positive happens I will gladly post all about it.

Not sure if it is positive enough for you but with the Toffoli deal I said the deal was fair value, I just preferred a pick over the player, defended Honzek when people compared him to the Jankowski/Smith draft picks and other bad picks in the Flames past. If all I cared about was negative, negative, negative those are two easy spots for me to have gone the other way on.

Some people post negative stuff so they can get attention. It is baseless really and not worth responding to.

There are children that when they do bad things mom and dad buy them things and give them attention. If you keep doing it and stop they will often throw a tantrum. I don't pay much attention to posters like that because it is very immature.

I am impressed that people reach out as much as they do and have been quite patient, It just goes to show the quality of posters here on cp.

If you looked at honzek and didn't see some of getlafs skillset there, who did you see? Just shooting down someone else's observation is going to get you labeled.

I think he already is, he is the guy we made the face of the franchise for 8 more years. He is also a big community guy and a leader off the ice. I think it is between him and Rasmus.

I love Rasmus for captain. A Flames pick, plays a great game, the right age, has an attitude, and the amount of work he put in from draft pick to now is easy to see.

It doesn’t feel like he’s the direction they go with so many vets on the roster, but what a choice that’d be.

I do really like Rasmus for the C or an A. I thought he showed great leadership in after game interviews in a tough season.

Yikes was a better name. At least then you could just post “Yikes” after a bad take and it was good for a laugh. Responding with “Spurs” after he says something over the top just isn’t as funny anymore.
