I believe most iterations if the E=NG title have been generated by actual statements from Edmonton team and media members.

Blood, sweatpants, and tiers was great though. Might be able to circle back if they weren't constantly giving us new material.

By far my favourite potential title. Can't believe we've had 10 E=NG threads and it hasn't been selected yet.

“New rink, same stink” is my all-time favourite E=NG title. It’s a classic. Made me laugh out loud when I first read it.

The only reason I don't like "we don't win as a team", is that it's cherry picked from a broader quote. If it was simply stated as written, I'd be game, but the full quote was actually "We win as a team and we don't win as a team", which seems like a pretty common saying. We can do better.

Not really, the saying goes "we win as a team, we lose as a team". When Tintin says "we don't win as a team" that means to me that when we win it's because McAvi and Pissy. When they lose though... it's everyone else's fault. It's the No Good way.

The only funny thing about that quote is he tried so hard to protect his team from hearing the word lose. His mind is like a tortured Oscars board meeting. "Would Leon prefer it if I didn't say lose?"

I think the threshold for a new E=NG thread is 10,000 posts/1,000,000 views (give or take).

It is usually 10,000 posts because the size of the thread starts to bog down the software.
If I remember correctly, the first E=NG thread made it to 20,000 posts, and Bingo shut it down in the Spring of 2015, when the Oilers secured the Flames their first playoff berth in seven years.
I used to have access to all the old threads, but suddenly I can no longer find the old E=NG chapters.

Oh dang, we need that archive! The old E=NG chapters must be easier to find than the Dead Sea Scrolls, no?

That was first floated back in the decade of darkness.
Maybe using it is how we manifest more perennial losing for a franchise that deserves the worst.
Plus it's really good.

A bunch of mega-threads including the old ENG threads were archived into it's own forum:

The best titles, ranked:
1. Edmonton is No Good
2. Chiadenfreude
3. Up and Down like a Toilet Seat
4. There's something in the Water!
5. New Rink, Same Stink
New Rink, Same Stink is a great title, but this should have been A New Lowe as a play on words with EP 4 of Star Wars. I'm excited to see what we come up with for the new generation of threads.
