Great to have a thread discussing prospects, instead of the usual bitching - thanks to everyone making all those great contributions

My usual grain of salt: this was primarily a skills assessment and development vehicle to gauge where everybody is at. And since it's July, a lot of players are fairly early in their off-season training.

He was the top Ronni in camp, that’s for sure.

I was there on day 2, and according to Royle, he left the ice very early in the session. He might have tweaked something. Not sure if he was on the ice Saturday, as I couldn’t make it.

Seeing Iggy back in his true colours was beautiful.
So happy to have him back in the organization and it looks like he is going to be a face we see a lot of when he is here full time.

Did any one who attended write up an overall camp report card on the participants?
Been out of the loop while this was going on.

Klapka seems like quite a character. I am really pulling for the guy to make it in the NHL.

I was at the Saturday morning session. A few thoughts...
Coronato was very good in the drills portion and worked his ass off.
For a guy known as a defensive D-man, Kuznetzov has surprisingly good hands.
Klapka isn't as noticeably huge compared to everyone else anymore - there were a lot of big dudes out there.
Huckins has good hands and looked decent in-close to the net during the scrimmages.
Stormgren had a great no-look, find the tiny triangle upper corner of the net goal - you can see it at the 1:39 mark of the highlights. https://youtu.be/kLuKTANlaik
Of the no-name players, Gourley, Hillebrand and Pilling were often noticeable.
As I was walking out, Conroy and Iggy were right behind me so I was looking forward to maybe hearing some of their thoughts about the players. Nope. Just two really close buddies having a good time on their way to lunch, probably. Also, for some reason, I was surprised that Conroy is bigger than Iggy. I've never seen either one of them in person before. Not sure if Iggy is lower than his game weight now but he looked pretty lean (in a good way).

Overall there's a number of factors that could see Honzek & Morin get an early cup of coffee.
I think it's doubtful, but would be fun to see the shiny new toys at least causing some competition.

This makes sense. I'm 6'1" and I thought Iggy looked about my size. I would have guessed that Conroy had two inches on Iggy, though.
