At the moment, it seems like Pringles has the support of a huge chunk of ground level troops and they are surrendering or cooperating with Wagner forces as they advance. Forces in Rostov under General Sergey Kuzovlev welcomed Wagner into Rostov with almost no shots fired, similar in with Voronezh. The 45th VDV unit refused to leave barracks to counter attack against Pringles, and there are rumors the Kadroyvites that were sent to Rostov to stop Wagner are joining up/surrendering. There are also reports that less than half of Rosgvardia units are showing up to defend positions when called up to do so.
If the reports are true, I don't know what means the MoD has to slow Wagner down. Guess the next 48 hours will be crucial and we'll see how the cards fall.
Interesting idea for a mashup.
Spoiler!

Zelenskyy stayed to fight for his country like the hero he is; Putin is fleeing like the criminal brat he is. I hope his pilot “accidentally” puts that plane down in some country where Putin will be arrested.
You think the US is going to invade Russia or Belarus? Yeah, that'll really dial down the tensions and reduce the chance of nuclear weapons being used, lol.
What a whirlwind 24 hours. As Pointman said, people were plenty desperate for this war to stop and for the russians to do something to get rid of Putin. If this is it...so be it. Personally I don't think this means the true end of Putin's reign (unfortunately), but this is the perfect storm for Ukraine. Not to downplay the fighting and losses that are still happening, but you couldn't ask for a better distraction at this moment in time.
How else would the US be "on the ground" influencing the outcome of a potential coup/civil war in a way that doesn't involve them violating those countries' sovereignty?

I also understood your post to want the US to put boots on the ground in Russia and also understood your post to condemn our Government / Canada for not being able to put boots on the ground. I apologize for misunderstanding and don't be offended - I for sure am not.
Some speculate this just may be just a convenient excuse for Putin to end the war in Ukraine while saving face either by pinning the Ukraine withdraw on Wagner or the MoD. We'll see how this plays out

This is extremely unlikely. If Putin was looking for excuses to stop the war, he could make something up without being exposed as being so stunningly weak.

I think this is a full blown coup d'etat. The oligarchs have likely had a nought and want their yachts back in the Monaco marina. Sounds stupid but it's most likely the truest thing as well.

Interestingly, the president's jet returned to Moscow just now. With or without Putin on board.
