No ####. Not to mention the story is WAY more interesting than that stupid bs.
Flip to Al Jazeera or BBC.

Also Putin and his Generals might look at the unwinnable situation of a Ukraine offense and a Wagner uprising and have to blunt or slow down Ukraine or stop them cold so they can focus on Wagner.
Or stop both quickly.
I doubt NATO even in the face of a nuclear event in Ukraine for example is going to risk a nuclear confrontation with a desperate Putin armed with thousands of nuclear weapons.

Imagine if the stupid nukes put on Belarusian soil ends up being the end of the Russian regime?
I don't want any cold war era nukes used ever and fear for the control of them going to some jackass regional commander. Let's let sanity prevail.
People love to hate the Americans but I hope they are on the ground preventing the end of the world. Canada with our moron PM isn't in the position to influence the local mail delivery.

Does Putin have a physical button that he can push to end the world?
I don't know but I have my doubts.
My guess is that there needs to be a chain of events that lead to a world ending nuclear launch. Do Putin and/or their subordinates agree to vapourise everyone they know and love?

Canada has never been a military power and may never be for obvious reasons. Do you feel better now that you got your Trudeau drive by in? Have a nice Saturday.

I was going to say something similar.
This situation is terrifying. Months ago my friend said if Putin is deposed they may get someone worse.

Russia is about to become irrelevant. Once it happens, it wouldn't matter much whether it's leader is better or worse than Putin. Yes, Russia still has nukes, but I'm not sure if they are in working condition.

Beyond the fact that Russia has vast nuclear weapons and chemical weapons stockpiles.
I wouldn't be surprised if Wagner moves on Moscow, that the Russian military will use every means necessary to stop them.
Wagner doesn't care about civilian casualties nor does Putin, nor his generals.
A collapsed warring Russia become not only a international basket case, but it could become like a collection of barbarian states.
As much as we hate Putin, nature abhors a vacuum and if he is deposed we are likely to get worse "Hard men" in charge.

At the moment, it seems like Pringles has the support of a huge chunk of ground level troops and they are surrendering or cooperating with Wagner forces as they advance. Forces in Rostov under General Sergey Kuzovlev welcomed Wagner into Rostov with almost no shots fired, similar in with Voronezh. The 45th VDV unit refused to leave barracks to counter attack against Pringles, and there are rumors the Kadroyvites that were sent to Rostov to stop Wagner are joining up/surrendering. There are also reports that less than half of Rosgvardia units are showing up to defend positions when called up to do so.
If the reports are true, I don't know what means the MoD has to slow Wagner down. Guess the next 48 hours will be crucial and we'll see how the cards fall.

We essentially participate in military exercises by watching and handing out sandwiches, we don’t have the equipment to actually participate half the time. This isn’t new tho.
I wonder if Putin moving Nuclear Weapons to Belarus was to hedge against Wagner?
His relationship with Lukashenko seems better than with his own military and oligarchs.

Nuclear weapons aren't like any other weapons. Just because you have physical control of them, doesn't mean they're actually usable. They're still solely controlled from Moscow until someone could crack the codes and/or lockout devices, which is a considerable task.

You think the US is going to invade Russia or Belarus? Yeah, that'll really dial down the tensions and reduce the chance of nuclear weapons being used, lol.

Why wouldn’t the Russian airforce be striking Wagner as it moves down highways toward Moscow?

They did. With few helicopters. But Wagner has mobile anti-aircraft systems moving along with the convoy. This is exactly what Prigozhin talked about with Putin's general. Also, there's very little resistance among the army as well. Russian army is not very interested in fighting Wagner. Wagner is to reach Moscow in an hour.
